Are you a leader?

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing well.

A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim is fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves!
-Lao Tzu

The world has always moved in the direction of leaders, the leaders of micro and macro worlds within this earth, so whom do you think are one of the best leaders of the world who lived and is living now, what according to you is the qualities a leader should have according to you? That’s later for you to pen your thoughts in the comment box.

They say leaders are born, not made. Well, I partially agree with this statement.

When I look back in the pages of Indian history, one incident that strikes me is, when Chankaya the great economist and scholar was humiliated in the court of the emperor Dananand, Chanakya swore he would train a person who will emerge as the best of leaders and dethrone him.

He cursed the king and decided to find the suitable replacement to the king, when he is passing out of the town he noticed a group of children were enacting a skit:

A boy named Chandra Guptha was the King, and his friends were acting as robbers, in the next scene, they portrayed a gang of robbers being caught when the robbers were bought to the king he ordered them the harshest punishment, that was death.

Seeing this entire scenario Chanakya decided that Chandra Guptha is the rightful person to lead the great kingdom of Magada and the right one to dethrone the arrogant king,  he succeeded in this attempt, and Chandra Guptha was one the greatest kings and successful leader.

So, I agree that there are some born leaders.

Coming back to modern times and this question which is very important from a small organisation to a Country, what kind of a leader is needed? And what are the qualities a leader should have?

Selflessness is a crucial quality, amongst others which I feel which matters the most for one to become a leader.

He should lead people in the direction which should assent the purpose or the cause for which he is a leader or was chosen to be.

In the renaissance and reformation which happened in this world across fields like, literature, art and scientific studies, leadership played a pivotal role, because the leader was one among many people who started to think in a new direction, and he also believed in that idea.

Even though some people were sceptical about it, eventually he made his people believe in his idea and finally, he implemented this change for good and now was accepted as a leader.

Going outright and putting a plan into action takes lot flesh and mind, even at the cost of being condemned by his own, the leader stands high and will follow what is best, which tells us about the next quality which is needed that is foreseeing the future and implementing changes.

A true leader is the one who helps his follower to choose the right path when he forgets his ethics and chooses crossroads.

Irrespective of what species in this world, each group needs a leader, and the success of the group depends on that trailblazer.

Do you know what that one quality is in a leader who makes them unique?

It is selflessness and the pleasure of seeing his group, army, or his team rising high above the horizon.

Now evaluate yourself and see where you stand as a leader and try to become a one and lead your people in a good path towards the horizon and help them achieve new heights.

Equality is to remain, unmoved within all circumstances.

Thanks for your time, have a great day.

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing well.

Every tiny molecule of ash is in motion with my heat, I am such a lunatic that I am free even in jail.

-Sri Bhagat Singh

We all look up to our leaders and are also motivated by their stature and the way they take care of their followers.

Going back in time there were great leaders who have lead people in the right directions which have helped to make this world a better place to live.

Historically there are many people who were great leaders and their legacy is being taken as an example till date talks about Karana oh! What a great worrier he was. He fought till the end and gave away everything that he was asked including his divine shield which was a divine gift. That is one of the qualities of a leader non-materialism or sacrifice.

Recently I  read a random article about the correlation between mythology and logic, the funny part is that recently when my cousin visited he actually suggested writing a blog based on almost this same topic but, highlighting leaders.

So what is the correlation between the almighty sun and a leader, well I have read in the history books which often contain some poetic lines like: “here comes the leader who shines as bright as the sun” now why do they say that why is a leader compared to the sun? Well, I was thinking about it for some time and these thoughts uttered to my mind.

The sun is selfless, for him, the first priority is always shining to give light and this shining takes  lot of his strength   because he burns himself up to shine for us, similarly, a leader is a person who believes in helping his people first and lead them in the right direction he will think about himself  lastly after he has helped his people in whatever it is required to be done.

The sun is a mighty star placed millions of lightyears away from our mother earth, but still, each and every being on this earth is dependent on the sun, to be clear we can say without hesitation that without the sun there is no life, imagine a day of darkness! all that breaths depend on energy on the sun and he is the only one capable of supporting life.

After talking about the sun, little peek inside mankind, there were many kings who were seriously great leaders Pritiviraj Chauhan, Sri KrishnaDevaraya the Wodeyars of Mysore, Genghis Khan, Alexander the Great, Napoleon Bonaparte, Chandraguptha Maurya and so all of these above-mentioned leaders share some common qualities like ambition, challenging self, the zeal to win a battle and above all giving their lives to their people and helping them enjoy a better life.

I feel most of the present leaders have forgotten these basic lessons of being a front-runner and end up in just getting criticised from their people for their lack of duty and misdeeds.

If the leaders are firm and stand on their toes with the intention of selfless, that my friend is a move towards progressive society.

A leaders mind should be as clear as mountain water and should contain minerals of selfless and compassion towards his men.
