The Playlist.

Hi Guys

Good morning, hope you all are doing well.

Life is like a bicycle, to keep your balance you need to keep moving.
-Albert Einstein.

The weather is back to normal after a record breaking rain fall in Bangalore over the past two weeks.

The word “playlist” is familiar to all of us , when I think about this word I feel delight and remember my tiny MP 3 player which my dad  first bought me when I was in college.
To be frank I became an addict for some months, you know... it happens when you get a new gadget and you were the guy who was enjoying with a small radio and suddenly you get this brilliant device which can repeat the songs and also shuffle it, the way you want it to.

Then one day I lost my player, it was the most disappointing day for me, for obvious reasons yes I agree was missing it, my dad gave me a surprise and got me another one  I was on cloud nine and did not sleep that night and mapped all my favorite songs again in my desired order.
Even now I have the same player, though I have my smart phone I still tend to listen in this gizmo because it gives me that personal feel.

Music and movies go hand in hand with our lives from the age we started watching television we would be exposed to music I am especially talking about Indian movies where the choreography department is given more importance or so I read in an magazine some time ago.

I want to compare life to a playlist, this can be an audio playlist or a video playlist you make the choice. I prefer an audio playlist because I love genres of songs mixed  in a single list and all of them in a shuffle mode so the next song would not be predictable. Life is also like a shuffled playlist which is totally unpredictable.

When you listen to a song you will know the mood of the song like a happy one or a mellow, a sad song or purely romantic, when you get up at sunrise your mood is usually neutral and then your brain starts pod-casting the trends of the day depending on your day and how you think that day is going to be, suppose you have a gut feeling your job will be beyond the stipulated hours of working you will be that grim face guy from morning and will be relived at the end of that day, and pull out your phone or radio and listen to some song or watch a movie.

During exams we the kids of 90s' used to treat our players and radios as a companion.
Considering life as a playlist makes you feel light about your own life you will be more joyous then your now, you will expect the unexpected, because we have this window of say sixty to hundred years where we can do what we desire for some extent and the other half is dictated by your commitments and rule of the land. There is always a personal space for you, it depends on you how you use that time.

We all need our time alone in a day hum a tune, try to write something or start thinking about something beautiful and try to convert that thought into some action.

Playlist are great and personalized I want your lives to be personalized like a playlist where you decide the order of your own songs and genres. Suppose.Suppose you missed to define the correct playlist just redefine the order of the tracks  and check your flavour and select what is that  you like most and arrange it the way that  makes you glad.

Live happy and enjoy life, try to create the best playlist.

Thanks for your time and a happy weekend.

What I learnt from my dog?

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing well.

Be the person whom your dog thinks you are.
-J.W Stephens.

The world is in a paradox mode actually, people are killing each other and coming in groups and attacking nations, when I see these attacks I get only one thought that is: "why can't this world live in peace"? in our short journey why should we always think of causing pain to others, or creating sorrow in a family? People need to think like humans first rather acting worse than beasts.

When I talk about beasts I remember one the phenomenal stories like the Yeti, the enormous snowman whom I watched in the famous animated series ‘The adventures of Tin-tin’ that was the day I realized voice dubbing is a very difficult task after watching some making videos of this beautiful episode titled: ‘Tin-tin in Tibet’ which is about Tin-tin rescuing his friend Chan after he ends up in a plane crash, I wanted to mention this as  Herge the author of the original book, before it was animated  has pictured the kindness of Yeti who actually saves the boy after the air crash.

Beasts as they are called are actually very instinctive and innocent beings.

So now if I think and try to tell you what I learnt from dog? there is actually so much that I have learnt.

For starters I can tell you definitely I learnt what is patience from him, through his never lose hope attitude to get that share of his loaf of bread or a piece of rusk which we usually have a habit of eating in the mornings.

As I told earlier there is more to learn.I seriously felt I need to share these thoughts as they have helped me a lot to move on in life when I was struggling or when I was off the mood and felt rejected in life at that moment just admire your dog for a few minutes and your back.

My dog according to me is almost happy every time I see him,  I  do not have the power to read his thoughts,  but  I have seen him sad when I come back from work and he gives me  that stare: “see you don’t care about me!” But the moment I bring out the walking leash he forgets that sorrow and jumps to life.

We should interpret our lives also in the same way sadness is always temporary phase and I am sure we will be happy soon it is left to you to express happiness when happiness knocks on your door.

My dog is a simpleton, he does not argue with me but when I leave him after his bath without wiping him he starts requesting me to wipe him and allow him to play with his towel with his whimpering tone which makes you feel sorry for you in the beginning but later you realize it was scam.

Even though he whimpered to play with his towel, I understood how to request people and negotiate with them rather than staging a mindless argument.

People say dogs don’t have intelligence they just work on instinct, but I see that instinct as a commitment, which works like a binary code if there is strange noise in the lonely corner of my house “come lets investigate that” is the program in my dogs brain, rather like us humans analyzing the sound and just sleeping it off because we are intellects but, sometimes intellects like us neglect small things and end up in bad shape, from this I understood that , for certain situations we just need to be instinctive in life rather being over intellectual.

The best lesson I have learn from my 11 year old man is  the ever-enthusiasm, towards that simple walk, you wake him up from his  deepest of sleep he is ready there wagging his tail and jumping and ready to run out with me for a quick walk.

He understands our language way too well, that is the divinity I learnt from my dog. There is no need for a person to know language to understand what the other person is trying to say, the tone says it all.

I don’t want to mention faithfulness as a lesson as we all know dog is man’s best friend and also known as one of the most faithful animals in the world, but instead of faithfulness I want to put the word courage which he has and barks against an intruder who is trying to trespass, that gave me the lesson about being bold and fighting for the people whom you love irrespective of the situation.

A dog’s life span is 15 years, all through his life he will lead an innocent, honest and loyal life, how many of us can do that?

So guys can we conclude the so called ‘beasts’ are better than us who lead life with a purpose?
let us start learning from the environment around us and start correlating it with the way we live our lives and try to make it better, if you want to know the meaning of unconditional love, I stand by my statement that there is only being that I know who  can give to you, it’s your dog.

So let us respect divine beings like these and respect all the beings around us, and make this world a better place to live by showing our advancement in the species through our gentleness and maturity.

Thanks a lot for your time, have a nice day ahead.

Disagreement = development?

Hello readers

Hope you are doing great.

Talk to yourself once in a day, or else you may miss meeting an excellent person in this world.
-Swami Vivekananda.

Heavy rains in Bangalore from the past 3 days reminds me of the 90’s school reopening time when me and my friends jumped in the rain and laughed at children who used umbrellas, time flew away and now we are just upset about the traffic jams caused due to rains, if I compare both my reactions it is actually very funny and weird .The rain made me realise only one truth we are ruled by no one , but nature  that's God's own truth. Whatever we innovate and try to prove we are the most superior species on earth we still fall under the rules of nature.

We live this life by abiding by the rules of nature at the same time we also have designed some axioms to survive in our own communities and society.

OK! If we just look back in time, since how many years are we following these tiny packets containing methods to solve problems or fulfilling your needs? May be from 3-4 centuries we see there is definitely a paradigm shift from how it was and how it is now.

I am sure sometimes we get weird questions, who could contemplate of a solution like a cycle which would work without any fuel other than your own calories? The inventor of bicycle is my all-time role model.

There are many inventors like these who have woken up the world, I see one common objective in all these people that  is, they did not accept how they were living their lives, and wanted to stay alone from the crowd, that is actually the bravest thing one can do.

If you ask why is it such a difficult task to do? My simple explanation would be this: try not doing your favorite thing for few days; like reading your much-loved book or checking your phone or talking to the person or people whom you love the most  that will give you the taste of dissatisfaction and unrest.

To just keep doing what we do is fine and easy but going out of the way is more difficult than we imagine, it is such a delicate feeling that, there are evidences of people parting their ways in life, relationships breaking just because the latter did not agree to the former’s idea, we have perceived many joint ventures in the world breaking up and becoming individual companies.

Standing up to a person and going in contradiction of him in life is a very difficult task, each day we agree with certain happenings around us and we don’t agree with some,  this is decided by your neural networks in the medieval cortex of your brain, the fastest decision center in the world, so can we say that if your medieval cortex is fully developed or a dominant part of our brain it is easy to stand alone in that crowd and say no to the entire crowd present there, no it is a very tough job, because along with your neural network your own will fights against you and tries to make you weak and tired when you want to stand.

Michael Jackson,  whom I consider the greatest creator of pop music of my generation used to sit on a tree in his Multi-billion dollar Never-land ranch , when he was asked in an interview mockingly: is this not odd?  to sit there like a monkey and write your number 1 labels? He smiled and responded after all I am an evolved monkey, and I respect my earlier species from whom we developed to be more intelligent today, that is how you stand by your decision he appeared on the time magazine for that answer by the way.

If monkeys, the early species of homo-sapiens had given up on their survival we would be history like the dinosaurs. There was one among them whom would have stood their and made some innovation that motivated others to create ways to continue living.

We all are alive today only because of the power and determination and survival given by your older species, who determined to just ‘live’ first, that was there basic task to accomplish. Now after that ‘living’ is considered an easy task for most of us we have built this society and live by the man-made laws, but I feel we are always free from the laws until and unless we don’t do anything idiotic and stupid.

The whole world

Let’s take one species: man, and consider the whole world has no differences you know like political, fiscal and socio-economic,  demographic and so on, we all get a spark in our brains and smile in our heart wow Man! we can we can meet so many people, so many new things to learn , fresh inventions and a better world, and you standing up  against someone won’t matter because you both are sharing a common goal that is betterment and we can say you guys are having an discussion rather than an argument.

So next time, when you argue with your boss be happy because you are out of the ordinary and you use your brain rather than punching your time card and do the same thing the next day and feel sorry you took up that job.

Let’s admire all the great thinkers who are OK! to stand alone against a thousand folks who agree, I am basically fan of such people and want to thank them today.

So that is right thing to do respect the feelings of very few people in this world who matter to you and do what your heart says, and yes if you disagree with a person both of you would learn something good at the end of that discussion.

Have a great day guys, thank you for your time.

Stress buster.

Hi readers

Hope all of you are doing well.

Successful people have two things on their lips, 1.Smile and 2.Silence.

-Mark Zukerberg.

What is stress, well that is a simple question to ask. But the answers differ; stress can be described differently in diverse contexts: For a flower brisk wind is a stress but we enjoy it; for you a splash of water is refreshing but for a cat it is the most stressful thing that can happen.

There are countless examples that can be quoted but holistically the meaning of stress remains the same that is feeling dis-comfort, or biologically it is an emergency mode which your nervous system puts you into if it feels threatened, by releasing a range of stress hormones like, adrenaline and cortisol.

We all know what stress actually is and we have experienced it, there is no need to learn it from books because we all know stress since our birth.

When we talk about human stress in particular there are many factors that put us in stressful situations, like death, agony, poverty, work pressure and so on.

The next word that will strike our minds after stress is stress management popularly called as stress busting.

It is nothing but losing your stress, but there are many methods to lose stress, like practising yoga, meditation these are very common and famous.

But, have you heard giving stress and busting it, I know it seems a little rude but this is happening around you as you are reading this! So how can you give you stress and reduce your stress? Let us find out.

The stress busters.

I have mentioned earlier, that there are different type of stress reducing methods, but some people use others as stress busters, to start with a simple example you would recall some time back in your school days, that teacher who was always nice to you shouted on you on a beautiful morning for no reason, all through that day you were just recollecting as to why this happened. The next morning the teacher apologized to you by saying, “sorry my child I was not in my best of moods yesterday” this added to your confusion.

The above example is a classic case of how the stress of one person is just bounced on another just to release it.

Many people do this each day, I feel this is not a good habit; we should start managing our own lives instead of pushing our problems on others which is totally illogical.

For the people who take stress from others hats–off to them as they manage their own stress and also help reducing others stress.

Please stop transferring your load on others just because you can’t take it.

Thanks for your time, have a nice day.
