Hello readers
Hope you are doing
well.
No matter how hard the past, you can begin again.
-Buddha.
Hmmm… It was half past
7 in the Appa’s home in a remote village in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. The
weather was fresh and misty outside as it is always in this village and young
Kamala was rushing to her school, Amma was running behind her to remind her
about her food packet as she had forgotten the packet 3 times in a row that
week.
This was a joint family who were living in
their ancestral house and mainly farming was their profession. The family had
children of all ages starting from toddlers to children who were ready to take
up their degree examinations.
Mudkappa was the oldest man in the family who usually took the essential decisions of agricultural and
also decisions during tough situations, Hiriyappa his eldest son loyally listened to his father’s advice and hence they lived with least hurdles and scuffles each day.
Days passed by, and the
family is now maturing in terms of age and intellect of its members.
Once there came a
situation, which had never been faced by the family, It so happened that , they
were running out of resources to take care of their farming activities,
essentials like seeds, fertilizers had become costly in the market was almost
unaffordable to buy.
When all the people of
the family asked the suggestions of Mudkappa to help get out of this situation,
he just gave them one suggestion which was “The solution for the problem is you”
the young men of the family were not happy with their Granddad’s suggestion,
because they felt it was too generic and absurd, which would to help them to
solve their issue.
Kamala who was young
lady was studying at simple college in their village for a degree in botany and
agricultural sciences, so she felt that the answer given by her grandfather was
actually relevant to solve the problem, so she suggested all the people in the
family what is, that thing which they do uses the resources which was used for
farming.
So they listed all the
commodities, like the seeds, and the fertilizers required so they all came to consciences
and brought all the necessities well within their budget, and carried on with
the usual process of sowing.
When the time of the
harvest was just ahead, the neighbouring farmers were amazed to find out that
this family had the biggest harvest for that year.
When one of the friends Hiriyappa, he just replied venerated, that he listened to the head of the
family who had experience in life. There ends the story.
We can see in the above
passage, the basic elements of management like, leadership, co-ordination,
corporation, the knowledge and know –how, and the management of a situation.
If we take this family
as a country we can see that they were always united, and worked for each other
to build a best team which do not have weak atoms.
Let’s try to build that
unity in our nation like the Family of Mudkappa, and show the world, united we
stand.
Thanks for your time
have a nice day.
