Hello Readers
Let every
nation know whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price,
bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to
assure the survival and the success of liberty.

Hope you all are doing well; there are
expectations in the air all over India ahead of the election season and the
results less than a month away.
The beauty of this democracy is that it
decides and seals the fate of the country for the coming five years, so my
request to all to go out and vote and elect the right person whom you feel is
the proficient leader for your respective constituencies.
Survival is a word well known to all, is an
oxymoron, for those who do not understand what an oxymoron is, it is a figure of speech in which apparently
contradictory terms appear in conjunction (e.g. faith unfaithful kept him
falsely true ).
I have described “survival” as an oxymoron
because people often use the phrase struggling to survive or die to survive and
so on, the fact is that survival is like the underlying goal of anyone on this
earth irrespective of the species either man or any species for that matter.
But each creature has been given this unique technique to survive within its environment.
Even though our ancestors or whom we call the
early man is said to have been lived almost on their own and survived the odds
of this world.
We can't tell the same when you talk about
the Homospeains, as he is super depended on the ecosystem around him and
depends on all other species of nature for him to survive.
It starts from the bees to pollinate the
flowers of fruits and vegetable crops which become the food for both humans as
well as the animals which humans eat!
From all the chemicals which are produced by
natural sources which we use as medicines for all our ailments, well the list
is almost endless.
Yet there is still a world of creatures which
can totally survive by themselves and do not need any handholding. When we
compare the types of species with us, we are definitely fewer in number but,
larger in population when compared to most of the species in the world.
Recently on the Moringa tree in our kitchen
garden I have been observing this particular bird every day for the last
fifteen days, it is called Brown-headed Barbet (Psilopogon zeylanicus) it has made itself home in the tree trunk by
creating a tree hole though it is argued in the ornithological community that
this bird pecks like a woodpecker I have seen it pecking.
The most fantastic part happened recently
when I saw they were two birds living in the tree trunk hole I am assuming now
the birds are in the breeding season, I hope to see eggs shortly.
What impressed me is until the bird which was
I was observing initially, completed its nest, it did not invite any partners
to share the nest and only did so show once the nest was all done!
The natural systems are so much matured and
simple, why can't humans the “intellectuals” understand such simple facts and
make life simple by first understanding the purpose of life and then talk about
achieving the unachievable and all think about great words like success,
triumph, wealth.
When you understand your purpose in life, I
think that is the day we all will be thankful to the creator.
There are many layers inside you, the first the layer is you, blood flesh and bones, the next layer is filled with your feelings,
ego and expectations from this world, followed by the next layer which keeps
saying you what you need to do and should not (sub-conscious) and the last the layer is what governs all the other layers that are your soul.!
For us to directly start thinking and doing
things from the soul may be difficult, but you will be pleased with the results
when you try to follow it.
Try to live your life from a top-down
approach keeping your soul at the top, like the bird which believes first in
survival and preserving its beautiful appearance and transferring its skills to
the next generation?
I understand the thinking of the bird is
limited and its challenges are less when compared to ours, but is our thinking
limited? Put your thoughts in the comment box.
Thanks a lot for your time.
Helios.
