Live and Let Live.

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing well.

" Before you start some work, always ask yourself three questions - Why am I doing it, What the results might be and Will I be successful. Only when you think deeply and find satisfactory answers to these questions, go ahead.
- Chanakya

In school we all were used to completing one chapter after another and finally getting promoted to the next class actually, now I feel they were getting  us started  going in that momentum so that we understand life in the similar way where you move on from one stage to another,  a kid to becoming an teenager to an adult finally a parent to a grandparent and so on.

Recently I read an article on reddit.com a popular online people’s magazine, the troll was about a debate on generosity and conservativeness, which gives more satisfaction and peace of mind.
I was amazed to understand that these two words play such an important role in our lives, in building our character and also have an impact on our body.

It was found in a lab that when you become conservative in life you become an introvert and shy away from situations and will be confused in a confused state during social occasions.

There are some hormones in our body which stimulate when we are happy, it was understood that when you continue to be conservative for almost everything in life, the depression hormones are stimulated and you would always feel lost and insecure.

Singer Michael Jackson is considered as one of the most generous people of the 21st century, even though he passed away for many personal reasons, he had track record of the least depression suffered amount on the artist circle recollects Michael Jordan the famous basketball player and Jackson’s close friend.

So remember the more we are open and generous and go that extra mile to help people around us it is better, we may feel the pinch of ego at times and step back or, start thinking why should we help when no one else around you is help, but when you get these thoughts we should understand actually your conscious is telling you to help, but because of the basic human tendency of being selfish we do not help.

Please help the people who really need your help and definitely you will feel satisfied and contented that you did something good today and all those people whom you helped will definitely miss you when you are not around them.

Before I conclude I want to tell you, the feeling of fear is always not bad, it is actually mechanism in built in the body to make you aware of the situation and alert you and take necessary steps to prevent before something bad may happen, it just the body’s way of resiliency protection.

Thanks a lot for your time have a great week ahead.

Work cycle -1 :A case study.

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing well.

A man is great by deeds, not by birth.
- Chanakya

Well the summer begins in Bangalore yes it is becoming more hot as the years come, we must all strive towards at least saving the nature which is left out.

Well our lives are moving in stages from many years, like our childhood, teenage, adulthood, old-age.

The prime time of our life is either our teenage or the adulthood; well I am not being biased that we cannot achieve anything in the old-age, but these facts area according to many surveys.

I want to explain a case study today, titled: The work cycle of a typical graduate in India.
To start which let us  take some assumptions, the subject or the sample if we may call so is just out of college and is a fresher looking out for a job irrespective of whether it is  private or a government job. Continuing on the case study

Phase one: selection

The sample either selects science or commerce as his stream of study.
Now if you imagine this as a flow chart if the selected stream is science then he mostly ends up as an engineer I am talking in a generic way and of course there are many streams in engineering the sample can select.
Option two the subject selects commerce, the most probable option he ends up as bachelor of commerce graduate, again I am being generic here.

Phase two: now what?

Well here we can see three possibilities 1 definitely a job hunt. 2 he writes an exam for a postgraduate course and enrols for a post graduate programme specializing in a subject or,

Phase 3 the job:

This is the most important stage in our corporate/work cycle; this stage can also be called as a learning phase.

Why it is named as the learning phase because it involves  lot of experiences and gives the person to understand the working of a company, what is work ?, the concept of time keeping, understanding actually how business works and so on?

Actually the work cycle can be stopped at that moment, but it is actually infinite and these three phases will keep happening with the difference that the sample will change from one organisation to another and will no longer be called a fresher.

Even I am a corporate professional my main motive why I chose to write about is that, I can see the concept of client servicing, over site project management, technical support, customer call centres have become such a huge business in India because the only conversation factor of the currency, which has made it possible to get labour so cheap that we have become a paradise for outsourcers.

Thinking about the pros and cons of this type of economy, I fell we have both the why I would give this a bouquet is that, it generates lot for foreign exchange to the country and exposes us to the advance technology followed in the silicon valley, you meet amazing people from all over the world and also build good networks.

Well there a several brick bats as well , I feel our graduations we get in colleges are becoming meaningless, It is just like a delegate pass which will enable you to wear your desired company’s badge, and you have a job!!!

The youth have stopped studying for knowledge, but rather attending colleges only to get placed in a good company, which I feel is seriously not the right perspective to treat knowledge.

I have also seen a new group dynamics which is called a traitor psychology, where a group of employees feel ashamed that they work for other countries.

Overall the work cycle in India is not balanced as the government jobs are very hard to find and the recruitment process is based on various reservations and quotas, which has made even more thought to get jobs.

We see our brainy crowd from IITs and IIMs are joining the biggest companies in the world like Google, Microsoft and so on, there I see a concern where India is losing its brain power.

I urge the government to make a system which makes the jobseeker feel amused and must imbibe the feeling him that this looks better than a private job.I also urge the brainy star kids to give back to our country as well, it may seem compulsive but I feel this concern now as there is too much of imbalance.

Hope I was at least able to analyse a bit today,  I will write more blogs on this topic as it needs to discussion, next time I will discuss how entrepreneurship is becoming a hit in the Indian Sub-continent and the importance of studying arts as a subject.

Thanks a lot for your time.

The Love Story.

Hello readers

Hope you guys are doing great.

“A clear rejection is always better than a fake promise”

These days people are using this one word for all possible, reasons  it is been a constant tradition of making movies on it, marketing this word countless number of apps and website about this word.

Well the word is "love" well we all know about this word and we also have experienced it.

The first person you would have experienced love is from your mom and dad.
Well what is love? Is it that feeling that makes you hug someone or is that moment where you smile to yourself silly when you remember that person?

Well I must say even though these words are close to love, but they are not.
This process of love at first site then, meeting up with your soul mate getting married is all bookish and is most suitable to be a very good movie.

But let me narrate a short story which will help us understand that real meaning of love.

This story was written by me few years ago here we go:

Long ago during there was a great war going on in Europe , deep in the woods when all the soldiers were trying to protect their camps, they heard the sound of mounted troops advancing towards them, even though the watch towers tried to restrict them , the cavalry  was  too strong and destroyed the towers and advanced further.

All the soldiers used all the ammo they had and tamed down this outrage except for the last troop, as they were out of ammo they ran for their lives.

Among the soldiers who ran was Lt. John , who was known for his quality of sacrifice in his battalion so he managed to hide his troop including the sergeant beside a deep trunk of a tree and gave the enemies a chase of their life, until he was cornered by them in an old barn, when he looked at the snowy sky and thought that was his end, indeed his prayers were answered when the enemies heard a stiff rustle in the bushes which distracted them and the John got hold of his rifle and fired rounds of bullets that rattled the enemies fled in retreat.

The curious lieutenant wanted to know who caused such a noise which helped him to save himself from the enemy.

When he was about to investigate, there came out a beautiful lady who looked quite frightened and confused and was still trying to understand what just happened.

Seeing her John  smiled at her and said “thank you miss” for saving my life, hearing this the lady was revealed and replied, “ glad to be of service sir and I must thank you for trying to protect our state  at the cost of your own life.!”

Well  they say their souls were in-sync from the moment they had met, well the lady introduced herself as Clara a shepherded women who depended on the wool of her sheep and its meat for her living.

So the situation of war was unstable , the unpredicted attacks by the enemies made John worried about the survival of his army.

But as the saying goes, “ all is fair in love and war” the war went on and John met Clara occasionally during his usual rounds in the forest.

One morning, John and his battalion were woken up by a dreadful attack by the
enemies, unfortunately  most of the soldiers martyred in the attempt John and his two segments got on  their horses and galloped only to be pursued by the enemy.

They landed up in the same barn again, and hid themselves, but were spotted by the enemies, John hid in the bushes, the same bushes where he had met Clara for the first time, eventually he was caught by the enemies and was dragged out, they were asked to choose between death or to be jailed for life all the three brave men , promptly selected death, the first two were executed brutally.

Then came the turn of the Lt. John, who just prayed for one last time and was blind folded by the firing squad, ready to be massacred.

He was shot four bullets, and then the miracle happened! Well he never felt the pain of the bullets, suddenly his blindfold was removed and he was shocked to see that Clara came in- between and saved his life, oh what a tragedy exclaimed John and, shot himself.

Well there ends the story. Well coming back to this word ‘love’ now, do we now understand it at-least? I have only thing to say love is  where your will to sacrifice even your life for the person whom you love or the country you love.

Let us all understand the true meaning of love, buying gifts needlessly and showing off the materialistic person in you will not hold good for long, start accepting people how they are, and start being compassionate to your surroundings, why I use the word surrounding is to highlight that we must all love, nature and its creations among which we are a part of.

Hope you liked my story.

Changing your perception is the key to success, look for positives ignore the negative.
Thank you.

Better Late Than Never.

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing well.

Nature has been very considerate to us even though we are exploiting it.

I would like to recall,  a great movie called shawshank redemption where we can  all understand the true meaning of hope, Red whose character is a Irish prisoner who was booked for murder is having an argument about hope with his dear friend and cellmate Andy Dufresne  who is also booked for murder.

Andy says hope is that one thing that no one can take from you, so Red replies , hope is a crazy thing and continues by saying it make you go crazy, and he just closes the conversation  with anger.

But by the time the movie ends  Red says "hope is a beautiful thing"

So what led to his sudden agreement with the latter?  Well it was his own experience which made him feel that.

So realisations are very much important in life, you know people always keep saying Better late than never, now why do they say that? Because some mistake that they did gives them the pinch to say that.

Back to the movie, when Red finishes his term in the department of corrections, he was very low in spirits to live that life of freedom as most of his life he  had spent in prison.

But he was bound to a promise that he made to his friend Andy that he will go to a particular place, so finally he keeps up his promise and finds some money some essentials and directions to meet Andy they and he  makes it to the destination,  the movie ends with a happy reunion.

From this movie we can understand the value of hope, friendship, how to be street smart and so on.

This movie has always been my favourite so I always love to narrate this story.

I feel our generations are getting  lost in the illusion of accomplishments, desire and materialism, I have spoken about all the three in many blogs, but I wanted to emphasis on this again because, recently I read a mail which was about the last conversation of Mr Steve Jobs, yes the same person who gave this world  the Iphone !  We all consider him as the great modern inventor which of course he is, but how many of us know he died a bad death suffering from a rare type of cancer?

I have heard some speeches and interviews of Mr.Jobs, god he is so motivating! I thank him for that.

But according to him he realised some truths late in life, well here it is the full letter written by Mr Steve Jobs , I quote:

“I have come to the pinnacle of success in business. In the eyes of others, my life has been the symbol of success. However, apart from work, I have little joy. Finally, my wealth is simply a fact to which I am accustomed. At this time, lying on the hospital bed and remembering all my life, I realize that all the accolades and riches of which I was once so proud, have become insignificant with my imminent death. In the dark, when I look at green lights, of the equipment for artificial respiration and feel the buzz of their mechanical sounds, I can feel the breath of my approaching death looming over me.

Only now do I understand that once you accumulate enough money for the rest of your life, you have to pursue objectives that are not related to wealth. It should be something more important: For example, stories of love, art, dreams of my childhood. No, stop pursuing wealth, it can only make a person into a twisted being, just like me.

God has made us one way, we can feel the love in the heart of each of us, and not illusions built by fame or money, like I made in my life, I cannot take them with me. I can only take with me the memories that were strengthened by love. This is the true wealth that will follow you; will accompany you, he will give strength and light to go ahead.

Love can travel thousands of miles and so life has no limits. Move to where you want to go. Strive to reach the goals you want to achieve. Everything is in your heart and in your hands.

What is the world's most expensive bed? The hospital bed. You, if you have money, you can hire someone to drive your car, but you cannot hire someone to take your illness that is killing you. Material things lost can be found. But one thing you can never find when you lose: life. Whatever stage of life where we are right now, at the end we will have to face the day when the curtain falls.

Please treasure your family love, love for your spouse, and love for your friends. Treat everyone well and stay friendly with your neighbours.”

At-least can we now realize the value of life and be balanced towards our families and our work or whatever you’re doing in life, the faster you understand this message the best it is for you, please stop realizing late .

I thank my Uncle for forwarding me that beautiful mail.

Thanks for your time. Hope you guys will be the change

Miracles and Magic.

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing well.

There is no bad religion, there are bad people!
-Morgan Freeman

I like magic very much it is an illusion and also a science. When I watch illusion experts like dynamo, Cyril and many more. The way they bring that sense of astonishment in the minds of the spectator is brilliant.

But is there a modification between miracle and magic.

People say miracles happen. So now why do people say that? Because miracle means: an event not explicable by natural or scientific laws. Such an event may be attributed to a supernatural being (god or gods), magic, a miracle worker, a saint or a religious leader.

Magic means: the power of apparently influencing events by using mysterious or supernatural forces.

So both the events are not explainable by usual logic of physics and material science, and magic usually a man-made event purely a delusion.

Now let  focus on miracles, even though we feel the saints or a religious worker can perform miracles, I say that daily in our own lives there miracles happening , OK now you want me name some? Here it goes the first and foremost I would consider as a miracle is my own body the way it has been designed and its working, each one of us are blessed to be alive and well.

The second miracle would be the brain’s amazing ability to think and learn, without these two words I Don’t think the humans would have advanced so much on this earth.

There are certain other miracles which happen in everyone’s life, like the most unexpected that you would never dream happened to you, like winning a race against a really smart competitor.  Don’t think that I am talking only good about miracles, bad miracles do happen, so what is a bad miracle?

You are on your way to some place, and being there means a lot to you but your car suddenly breaks down and you missed the appointment. You were disappointed that day, as you missed that opportunity.

The next day you got that task completed in an easier way from some other source, you felt at that moment may be my car breaking down yesterday was the best thing that could happen.

So we need to accept what is currently happening with us and try to find the light in a dark tunnel, instead just sitting in a lonely dark corner and feeling helpless.

Steve jobs once said in one of his speeches I quote “Getting fired from my own company (Apple Inc.) that I built was the best thing to happen to me as I found my lady for life who later became my wife and who helped me build back my lost confidence which helped me to go back to Apple again.” What a miracle!

We should always try to get the best of the waste and should not get frustrated for silly events which happen around us, the day we get that umpiring power and maturity and understand the situation around us; we will see miracles happening often.

Stop being stereotype to yourself as well the people around you, be like software which is always updated, and live in the present.

All the best, thanks a lot for your time.

The Weeping Soldier.

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing well.

If you have a problem, if you have a solution for that then why worry? If you have a problem it's beyond your control and you cannot do anything about it, then why worry?
-Gaur Gopal Prabhu.

This thought was told by a swami his name is Guar Gopal Prabhu he is very much hilarious, he has a unique way of explaining the lessons of life. He makes you laugh at the same time will teach the best lessons of life.

Sometimes I feel our life is just a paradox, we talk about morals and great thoughts, but when it comes to implementation we would not like to abide by our values and we step back.

Why is this such a Paradox at the end the day does this all converge at point where we say we are humans and we have our limitations? Come on then what is the point we claiming ourselves that we are the most evolved species and all that research?

What is your point that we all come converge at?

I have some points of convergence like this one; every man on this earth does whatever he does, for food, clothing and shelter?

Can you counter me on that and say “no! I know group of people who say we are different are not so much life-loving and we are ready to die for a cause.”

I completely agree with you there are people who go above all that matters to them for a cause and the first group I would like to mention are the soldiers, for whom this country is something different and the way they look at it is not even close to what you and me think about.

On 18th of February there was an interesting debate in the National television Times now and we all know the famous news show called the ‘News Hour’ hosted by Mr. Arnab Goswami whom I admire very much for his blunt honesty and the attitude to bring the ugly truths of India out on T.V. he shows what is really going on in this Country , so the debate was about the hoisting of Indian flag in all central Varsities, I was personally stunned by the negative response of some of the panelists like a gentleman who claims to be a professor  from Jabalpur university and another person who said this is an example of extreme nationalism!

I mean what are these people talking about? If you talk about the professor who says the universities have their own flags there are no need for national flag to be hoisted there! This man is supposed to be teaching good thoughts to his students and help them to become useful citizens to the country and also to the world!

To Ajay Alok who said it is extreme nationalism, sir just think how hard have the great martyrs who struggled before we got freedom and the endless lists of Jawans who gave their life for that flag? After we became a sovereign republic, they gave their life not for their names to be seen in the Amar Jawan list, but for you, as they feel you are the child of Mother India who needs to be protected.

There were two ladies one of them was an advocate and another was a journalist, who were questioning the HRD minister of the timing of this rule imposed, even if I consider this point I say this was the correct timing, as we seen in the medieval periods and in the modern history where leaders had to motivate the people to build the bonds of unity.

Gandhi instructed to burn all the British produced products in the street to promote Swadeshi movement please tell me why was that done do you question his timing?

I am still wondering whom are these people supporting? are they happy if people like Afsal Guru come in thousands and keep  each and every citizen of this country at gun point and say surrender yourself and laugh devilishly and say India is history?

This is the paradox , we all read Indian constitution and say we love our country we are Indians, but the most unfortunate part is that we are not sure whom are we supporting , and we absolutely have forgotten the meaning of this word called unity!

At the end of the heated debate, General G.D Bakshi broke his silence and broke into tears! I mean that says it all; a retired army officer is crying to today  not because of the useless argument about the flag, but thinking about his entire men who perished in the battle filed for that flag! It is like a great worrier is stabbed by his own men and calls him a fool!

Of course this is not a knee-jerk reaction that I have written this blog, but I want to spread the message to the people who feel India lacks unity and I salute G.D Bakshi Sahib and I am with him, millions and millions of Indians are with him

Wake up everyone we have to show we are one again, wake that sleeping patriot in new and condemn such people who want to polarize India.

Thanks for your time, enjoy the evening.

The Importance Of Belief.

Hello readers

Great to be back.

You can have anything you want if you are willing to give up the belief that you can't have it.
-Robert Anthony

We must always try to understand the deeper meaning of any statement or conversations before jumping into conclusions.

Belief is a very powerful thing in this world, almost each and every aspect of our life depends on it.

If we take our birthdays, it is just a belief that you believe what your parents said that, you were born on that particular date and you celebrate that as your birthday each year! Have you questioned yourself or them for proof?  no! Not at all for the simple reason that they are your parents and you are devoted to them and believe them.

Our life is funny we live on many beliefs and when what you were believing suddenly is not what you think you will be in a sense of shock for some time,  because you are confused and never anticipated that to happen.

But there is proverb which says “always expect the unexpected” some time back when I was in school, I was reading some book about studying smartly rather than hard, in that book he had given an example about finding answers to questions, one of the way correlates with the proverb, the author says “when you search answers for a question search in the deepest cupboards of your brain where you would have never thought that you find it and there is your answer”.

The reason I quoted that proverb and also my example is that generations are getting rotten to such an extent that our beliefs on simple things are vanishing from one sun rise to sun set.
The only mighty sources of belief I see are our soldiers who believe in their duty and are ready to call it a day even with their lives as a full stop for that day!

Seriously when you start thinking at that level you will seriously laugh at yourself for the silly things you always thought you were back-stabbed by your closest friend.

The world today is living on  belief a child’s belief towards its mother, a mother’s belief towards her husband, an employee’s belief towards his work place and boss.

Believing in someone is very important and as the generations are progressing the strong network of beliefs are getting fragmented and weak due to materialism and selfishness, break of trust between us.

Even though we say animals live on instinct, I admire their belief in them for instance, if you consider a dog he is devoted to his master and he is faithful and believes his master will never do something which will hurt him, even if he beaten  the poor animal first feels sad for the pain he suffered but again will never lose the belief  that his owner is a good man.

I recommend you all to watch the movie Hachiko which is based on a true story from Japan; we can understand the true meaning of belief,  hope and unconditional love from this beautiful movie.

Believe in right people and also have a character that proves you’re a man people can believe, because even in the advanced ages of technology people are searching hard to find a right person with whom they can share their happiness and sorrows.

Thanks for your time have a great weekend ahead.

The Beautiful Struggle: Pain in the Pursuit of Dreams

Hello Readers I hope you are fine today. It's good to be blogging after a while. I wrote about the pains and struggles, as well as what...
