The upcoming generations are very much advanced than mine that is one positive take always for today.

But it still it, has its own shortcomings.

So today wanted to talk about some of the needs this generation is lacking and how to cultivate them.

Let us first understand what we are lacking. This generation though way ahead and smarter than mine,

I feel this generation, lacks some key qualities which are required like presence of mind, responsibility and the sense of humour.

I remember my childhood, that was a total time of enjoyment and being happy always. Yes I do agree that the level of happiness cannot remain the same, it differs and completely depend how we approach life, and try to see happiness always and ignore that sad part.

Humour.

But what about, the sense of humour part, come on this generation kids no long smile to a joke they really need, something very amusing to make them smile I mean just smile!

Isn't that sad? , we all know a famous proverb which says laughter is the best medicine! So we just discuss, as to why this current trend are kind of serious, my answer would be well they are more matured than we were, in that age.

That is actually a good point. But do think they are over matured for their age, a recent survey, I read about this on the Internet, and it said yes, there is 32% relative increase, in brain maturity rates and emotional out bursts, which is actually in spoken English means both laughing and crying.

As I told you this is good, but some get over matured and become too serious in life which I feel is not necessary.

Responsibility.

This quality is very important for the success of any individual. Let me be very clear I don't expect small children to take responsibility before even they know how this world works! I am talking about teenagers who are going out of track.

We must all acknowledge the fact that our older generations took more pressures and responsibility, than we are taking now ,which is quite natural ,considering the time lines ,the political and fiscal environments they belonged to .So we must start teaching the values ,like being responsible for his owns actions from a smaller age.

Presence of mind.

This is actually one of the strategies which is followed by greatest people whoever lived  on earth, it is experiencing and living that moment rather than just seeing time!?

People with a good presence of mind are selected in the best schools in the world, and from a professional aspect they are selected by, top investigative agencies in the world like the FBI, CIA, so why is that.

It is because a person with a good presence of mind can take thoughtful decisions, and he lives that moment with commitment. It is sad that the present generations due to the passive environment they live in, If I suppose tell them there is dead crow, they would first see the sky?!Do you think this is stupid ?but I guess its not ,they define it psychology as the passive reflex syndrome ,where kids and young adults lose the ability to keep their presence of mind on ,due to various reasons.

So I want the parents of the Gen next to start, guiding their children to develop all these basic skills of life, rather than just dumping them into top class schools, and just heading out for work and, just meeting that kid at a dinner table, before he or she goes to bed. I guess that is not the correct way to do it.

We as elders need to interact with children and understand their problems, give them responsibilities, as we were given; they say it in a famous proverb “home is the first school”. Therefore we must be a good direction for the Gen next to dream that goal, they might have.

Motivate your kid towards socializing; let him laugh his hearts out.

Let us all understand that ,irrespective of how much we develop ,and improve the way we lead our life, the air we breathe and the ,water we drink won’t change ,until something radical happens to change this, similarly teaching the Gen next to become these confident individuals to lead life on their with minimum help from others is very essential.
