Hello there! Good morning.
He who can listen to music in the midst of noise can achieve great things.
-Dr. Vikram Sarabhai.
We all get feelings all
the time, even this moment when I am composing this blog I am in a feeling and
you when you are reading it I am sure you’re also expressing an emotion.
Well what are these feelings,
emotions or sensations that we experience, can we say that it is like another
sense organ? Soon the answer I think is going to be an affirmative, because
there are many behavioural study scientists who are trying to prove the
reactive pattern in humans and some species of primates when they are exposed
to different environments and also when they are not exposed to any of this scenarios
and record what they feel when they are idle.
They have given certain
conclusions to their on-going like you know…. They say a feeling or an emotion
is triggered definitely as the first response to our five sense organs and now
the sixth as the brain is also considered as a sense organ, and the way we show
our emotion towards any situation is triggered by a catalytic reaction in the medieval
cortex of our brain.
I was particularly interested
in this one: We feel lighter after we speak to someone or give a speech, just
think about that talkative guy in your college or school or at your workplace,
don’t you feel he is always jolly and bright compared those who hardly speak or
popularly called as introverts.
I am sure you would
have experienced this, you are walking
on the road alone suddenly a passer-by asks you the directions to reach the gas
station, and after you complete, the person may thank and just leave or even crack
a joke like: “well this city is a maze, thank you good sir” you smile at that
person after he or she leaves you would
feel jolly and relived, the amazing part is your emotion was triggered and do
you know the reason behind that brief smile was not that joke, but you felt
happy because you helped someone that day.
You get the similar
feeling when you feed stray animals or even feed birds or give them water,
there is a study which says when you interact with animals you seem to be happy
and healthy, I feel this is so right because we belong to this nature, it is
like the circle is complete when you take such initiatives, because your body
expects you to be natural.
When you give a speech
to a large audience or may be class elocution, you come out with that glow in
your brain which reflects on your face, just recollect that confident face
after you finished a speech which you spent some quality time to prepare.
We hardly sit on our
seats when a rock band is playing because they make you feel totally stress
free with their music. So we all need to talk more to people build new
networks, help animals and also humans, take part in discussions which will
help you mature as person and discuss challenges if you wish to, it helps you to feel lighter and clears your
brain from the dirt made by your worries and your stress.
Talk more, help the
needy and spread happiness. Thanks for your time have a great week ahead.
