Hello readers
Hope
you all are doing well.
The world moves on whatever happens ,survival of the fittest is the norm and COVID
has proved this and is continuing to show each passing day.
When
you even think towards innovation consider yourself a class apart and don’t stop.

I have always felt that innovation and
creativity is above all skills, which is prevalent in this world.
If you ask me, why do I feel innovation and
creativity is above all skills.
Well,
it is not tough to answer this question, let me narrate a small story.
There
once lived a man in the United States who was bent on making the lives of the
labour class a bit easy he tried to do that by inventing machines. His first
patented invention was the drilling machine which was used to cut rocks.
Things
moved on, and he moved to Boston, he was motivated by one of his friends to
invent something useful to the textile community. The result of his
determination and genuine challenging attitude was the sewing machine.
This
is the story of one of the brilliant American inventors, and his name is Isaac
Singer famous for his original patented design of first mechanical sewing
machine. Even today, his unique design is used in all the sewing machines in
the world.
Whichever field you try to peek in, there will be the inception of how that concept came into existence, and the beginning starts with a thought an
epiphany. The end may be a musical tune, a beautiful song, a new dance form ,a
beautiful painting, or a magnificent vehicle or a machine; again it starts from
a mindset which is ready to BEGIN!
The mindset
My thoughts on mindset are that it is actually not
that you arrive at, it is a state of a person, for example, we all have heard
that happiness is a state and they say it’s up to you whether you want to be
happy or not! Well, I would say the same thing for the innovation in you it is
if you wish to be in that state or you choose to be a non-thinking individual.
when
you look at a problem usually there are three types of reactions which can be seen,
the first one just look at it as a problem and think of a solution ; the second one
concludes that this is an unsolvable one and move on.
Yet
there is another way, you look at the problem and try to understand why it
happened at first place? and then try to resolve it and try to ensure it won’t
reoccur, well this is innovation, you looked at the problem, and you used your
past experience. Finally, you came up with a new solution of your own by
combining all your thinking power what a symphony of synergy!
Apollo
13 was one among the many human-crewed moon missions. Still, on the way to the
moon the oxygen tank exploded, they CAPCOM heard “Huston we
have a problem” on
the radio. Still, the ending of this incident has a silver lining all the
astronauts safely escaped the disaster and landed back on earth.
What
made this possible a brainy group people both former astronauts, Capcom pilots
and some graduates from MIT and their innovation in converting the lunar
landing module into a command module, which helped them successfully reach
earth and come out of one of the most dangerous situations in space travel
history.
Monotony
is typical in each of our lives, whether in your job or in your personal life,
would you like to come out of it and try something new which would make you
feel fresh and alive and gives you that aww. Feeling and satisfaction of a day
well spent in our life, that moment is called the innovative bliss.
I
have experienced this bliss in some points of my life; I used to feel this even
if could fix a jammed lock because we put our mind on to it when we try to
solve problems or hurdles in life through innovation.
Innovation
is the ability to see change as an opportunity, not a threat.
-Steve
Jobs.
Think
out of the box, it helps! Don’t get pushed by people and take no for answers,
pencil pushers are always around to just show you down, it is left to you and
your innovative streak to spring back up.
I
would quote Matt Damon from the movie Martian “You just begin, solve one problem, and solve another and if you solve
enough problems you get to come home.”
Before
I end, I would like to thank one of my guides and friend who suggested me to
write about this.
Thanks
a lot for your time and Enjoy the rest of your day.
Helios.
