I was thinking about some new topics to discuss today.

let me tell you what was in my mind: the first one I wanted to write was about: cyber-dyne with an artificial intelligence theme the name is taken from James Cameron’s fictitious company which produces computer chips which are deployed into terminator androids which would replace humans, that's for later; I changed my mind and thought I should write about trends this time around.

What is a trend? It is nothing, but what people follow or the waves of appreciation is going towards a particular theme of music, art or sport, the latest trend of fashion and so on.

Is this world driven by trends, yes of course! We all live in a trending world.

So what are the latest trends that you follow?  First on the list would be your clothing? Supported by technology especially your cell phone, which you always want it to be at its edge and updated.

Who sets these trends? Celebrities? Of course yes they are the most successful and appealing in the marketing industry, we buy what they promote and automatically develop that brand preference and loyalty.

I agree that following trends is like the stock market sometimes there would be a buying trend which supersedes the selling trend and the rest of the time vice-versa.

Ok, that  was about the commercial trends let us talk about some other type of patterns, for example, your ideas of a healthy society, if you try to record it on a sheet of paper in a survey mode certain criteria’s you would come across points like what are the views of an individual to make it a better society? How can we think proactively to improve the systems working around us? how can you make our country corruption free?

Even though many of us may be apprehensive about the ideas which I discussed in the previous paragraph and say these are not trends but as an opinion and ideas which need great implementation, so be it, because my motive here is for you to get the idea of what I am trying to convey.

It is essential to discuss this because I see a very vague kind of living among us the gen y or the youth or known by several names, we are wasting too much time fan following celebrities fashion trends the immediate example that is striking me now is the IPL!

I agree that I don’t like the concept of sportspersons being sold to big business tycoons like horses! in the name of cricket, and now if you see cricket well it is no more the cricket the beautiful game I knew which involved skill and perseverance. It is just smashing the ball all around the ground like some artificial batting machine and also it is commercialised to the core I truly feel the spirit of the game is gone, some people say it is entertainment but I fail to agree because it more or less looks like a social media relief for social media addicts who want their selfies to be posted on the internet!

I may be a critic or one amongst hundred who does not like the idea of this level of commercialisation in any sport for that matter.

At least I appreciated when they came up with the idea of Indian football league, hockey league and Kabaddi league, as these sports do not have so much recognition in India, even though Kabaddi and hockey is an original game of India.

Why can't we think of methods to uplift our Olympic participant count?

The IPL example is just one example there many examples like these, where we waste too much of our productive time.

So my dear readers please try to follow better trends which would add value to yourself and also our country, try to analyse the political situation of the nation, think what can be your contribution to make the situation a better one, come out of the smartphone cubicle and walk to a library and start reading books and understand India as broad as possible.

let us not be the cult of ignorance!

Please remember all types of freedoms we are enjoying today, we have got it at the cost of sacrifices of millions of people, and they sacrificed thinking and hoping that India will have a better future, let us make their aspiration come true, let us make our modern leanings in the right direction.

Newfangled Relationships

So what is happiness according to you? Is it doing what you like, or following your passion says being part of a band, or following your favourite pop star or being part of your favourite sport can be considered happiness. Ok here is question number two: Is falling in love or being a close friend of someone a passion or an experience, should you take responsibility for it? I will try to put down my thoughts about this today.

The times are tense and very dry, people have lost meaning to words like compassion, empathy, care, sympathy and love. Every word which is linked to an emotion or a value is just taken at its face value, and nothing is considered solemn, and above all, there is this one thing which people look at money.

Do you think it can have an impact on a person’s life if you play with a persons' feelings or emotions?

Of course, before I even tell, you know the answer for this is, so sighting that it is a yes, why do people play games around others just to hurt them and make them feel as if they were fools to "believe" in them or “trust” them and finally end up in a hollow mind.

Even though belief and trust are synonymous I see it as comparative and superlative degrees, you first develop the belief in a person which will later become trust which is stronger than belief/faith.

I feel it is more of a psychological game when we think why such ordeals happen.

Think about this if you decide to manipulate someone for your gains and become that “close friend to him or her” or give that new trade name which is a boyfriend, girlfriend or a gig.” 

And once what you accomplish it is achieved sideline that person or start a gossip shows on him or her among your peers and destroy his entire morale is it fair?

I think the person at the receiving end would have had a very tough time digesting all this garbage if he or she is healthy in mind.

Unfortunately, who is very weak and sensitive, end their lives because of this, I don’t think the people who commit suicide are not thinking about their own lives and the people whom they care about before they take that extreme step.

 For all the people who are in weak mind, why do you care for someone who dumped you, be thankful to them because they made you understand that people can do this to you too! And you were not all “so special” to them after all? Do you think your birth just happened as part of a biological process? Of course, not all the cosmos is responsible for your delivery, so please don’t wash it away by just strangling yourself!

For the people who play, manipulate or cheat with their close buddies in the name of love, affection true friendship, bonding, my god! The list of these catchy words is endless! Don’t think you are victorious just because you were successful in what you think was a game plan.

Games are always meant to be both won and lost, next day it will be your turn to suffer and feel broken about it, so it is better you don’t try to invade in somebody’s mind who trusts you, at least then if someone ditched you there will be others who will stand by you and console.

Remember money lost can always be earned again, but once you lose a person’s trust or his compassion for you I am sure it won't be the same as it was the first time, I think the only exception here can be a mother.

Sequestration - The right to privacy

The last blog I wrote about our lost old culture and the marvellous intellect of our ancient people needs to be studied and understood in detail surely will write more blogs like those shortly. Coming back to modern times let us discuss a more recent and “in the media” subject which is data mining.

We all have heard about the above term in one or the other channels of social media, the internet the sources are almost many.

There are concerns about this term called data mining, the word was first quoted by CIA in the mid-60s where the cold war was at its peak with the Soviet Union. Data mining was carried out to know if the Russians possessed some secret advanced technology that would be a threat to the USA. Imagine they quoted the term even before the internet came into existence?

Well, that was one phase of data mining, but later after the cold war was over, the CIA continued their data mining activities not any foreign spies or intelligence officers but on its citizens.

 The first whistleblower who exposed that Government agencies data mine was Mr Edward Snowden who was exiled from the USA on the grounds of conflicts of interest and not abiding by the NDAs of his workplace. He is presently living in Russia.

Question: Are we all confident on the statements released by large institutions like NASA, FBI, CIA and KGB are right to the end or is this answer a little shaky?

The truth is that there is a significant PR (public relations) department in each of these institutions which are trained and told to what to disclose to the public and what not to, the ex-employees who worked there confirmed this.

I had to go out a little bit out of the topic of data mining because it is also part of discourse and secrecy which I tried to discuss in the previous paragraph.

Data mining can be defined as the examination of an extensive database to extract new information.

An example will help you understand, imagine you have the database of 1000 employees and you are the and your company deals in the big data business which is a method business analytics which is used by Google and Facebook to understand customer behaviour and manipulate the market and make their subscribers more profitable.= by introducing only the ads relating to the most sold phones for instance.

So everyone should be aware that we are almost data mined either through our phones or our computers including our location details.

Recently I saw video which was being circulated in WhatsApp, where a person spends a day with two android phones with one of them in which he had switched off his location and another in which he had switched on the location at the end of the day when he compared the results by loading it to a software, it reported very accurate results like location, the time and date when the person visited those places.

 The kicker is that the results were almost same on both the phones the on with the location off and the second one in which the location services were on.

To conclude, modernization and technology is no doubt convenient and has taken our communication to the next level, but don’t you feel it has taken control of our privacy from us?

Why should always be glued to social media applications and websites, why can't we get stuck to books? And try to get some real knowledge; I am sure we have a lot of secrets to unearth.

Artificial Amnesia

How are you today? Last week has been exciting because I travelled, it was a pilgrimage. But for me, it was something different I had been to one of the oldest temples in South India that is Rameshwaram and Trichy.

I visited some stone temples which were built centuries ago by our ancient men whom we think as old, but the fact is they were more advanced than even the most brilliant scientist to date.

Do you think I am underestimating the current generation of brainchildren and progenies like Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, CV Raman, Madame Curie the list is almost endless I am not even close to them, but I can be sure our ancient people were equally brilliant!

All of us would have visited ancient buildings built by the high kings when India was at the peak of its prosperity; there was a time where diamonds were sold on the roads just like vegetables and fruits and funds were released abundantly to build temples.

So why do you think the king of the day felt that building temples were more critical and gave importance to as he expanded his kingdom, I am not exaggerating this because we have evidence. If we travel to both North and South India where we can visit places like the Madurai Meenakshi Temple, the Sundareswaran temple, the Srirangam temple, the Sun temple of Orissa, the darasuram temple the famous Ellora caves Kailash Temple and of course the Vijayanagara and Hampi Heritage temples.

Do you think that we have not decoded the actual messages that our ancient people wanted the future generations or the present generations to understand when they are we visit these temples?

Before I answer there is one fact which we need to understand which the present historians or the archaeologists have missed out; there is a general misconception that ancient people had lesser IQ and builders used simple tools like chisels and rock hammers to build these complex megastructures. I think that is not at all logical because if we look at the accuracy and precision which is shown by the artist in the stone carvings, we will be pretty sure they used something very modern may be more advanced than the present power tools.

How could they have created such high polished and smooth pillars
by just using simple tools?

When I was travelling last week, I searched the history of Rameshwaram temple on the internet, and I came across this YouTube channel called phenomenal travel videos which are presented by Praveen Mohan an archaeologist and a researcher of all ancient structures around the world.

He has given numerous analysis on many temples which just stunned me, and it is so unfortunate that no mainstream historian or an archaeologist is trying to do some in-depth research regarding this.

We Indians have a habit of not acknowledging that our tradition and culture is unique and it is invaluable. We have still not realised that this one weakness helped the British Empire to conquer India and rule for 89 years, we all feel sorry about the way Indians were exploited and also executed by foreigners who didn't mean anything to us.

But we have to blame ourselves because we never valued our tradition and culture and maintained Unity. We fell prey to easy westernisation and industrialisation. There is still a mind-boggling question which always haunts to date, what would India be without the British invasion? I have yet not got the answer for that maybe you can help me with some inputs in the comment box.

The reason I had to mention British Empire is that they were smart people who saw Indian culture and Indian temples and have implemented many of the ancient technologies which are used in our temples. The easiest and famous example which I can quote is the musical pillars of Hampi; there is evidence that one of the British Architects was so impressed with these pillars of Hampi that he removed one of the cornerstones and tried to find out how it works but was unsuccessful.

As this is my first travel blog; I will keep it brief and end it here by leaving the thinking to you.

Next time when you visit a historical place try to observe the sculptors and decode in your language so that we can unearth the real history and try to create an awareness of the pseudo-history which we have learnt all these years and try to tell the world the real prosperity of India which was lost to the guns and arrogance of the British invaders and the naive and sheepish attitude of the politicians who fabricated history the way they wanted.

We have all been made to forget Indian culture and tradition through the vernacular education and orthodontic systems which we follow which is the reason for this artificial amnesia.

I will write a sequel to his blog after I do some research and can present you with some examples to understand better about what we discussed today.

Here is something new about this blog. I have tried to write this using Google voice typing. We all should try it use it was an amazing way to save time and also more productive.

So today I want to I want to discuss some people who have given this world meaning and also created milestones for themselves and also to others during their time.

The motivation behind me to write this blog he is a movie which I watched recently called The Darkest Hour it is based on the life and Critical times of the biggest empires in the world that is that is the British Empire it is based on the life of Winston Churchill

Even though there is a good amount of negativity around Winston Churchill’s methodologies and also the damages caused for the British army and claiming more than 3 million lives for which he is referred as genocide monster, and also an  Indian hater who called the Bengal famine as the fault of Indians multiplying like rabbits! And also withheld the aids which were offered by other countries like France and US, which lead to the death of millions.

But still, if you look at the best out of worst in Winston Churchill you see a patriot inside who for saving his land from the fascists took all possible paths and defend his land successfully which led to the decline of Hitler and the end of world war 2.

Similarly in India there was a great man whose ideas were very futuristic and also very promising, and he is Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose who built an army which we all know called the Indian National Army not only in India but he tried to converge other parts of the world also to fight against the British imperialism he took a strategy to unite the Prisoners of War against the British, many sceptics who say this is what which actually drove away  British from India more than the Quit India Movement which is of course is debatable .

Can you imagine the determination which this man possessed that he could build his own Army to fight against British?  how many of us were ready to do if you are in Subhas Chandra Bose’s shoes we read a lot of Quotes regarding courage, commitment and also patriotism but don't you feel this is actually a practical example which you can try to explain to the youth of this Nation.

 Netaji is located in different angles by different people because he tried to join hands with the darkest soul who lived in this world Adolf Hitler, but going to the half glass empty half full approach don't you feel the primary objective was to make India free from the exploitation of the whites. We hear a lot of political discussions even today about Subhas Chandra Bose and his suspicious disappearance in the plane crash at Taipei, Japan. half the time we are always trying to get a joy feeling that Subhas Chandra Bose did not die in that air crash and lived on till the  late 1970s which are so recorded, understand even now the death of Netaji is a mystery but instead of finding answers to a big conspiracy which I don't want to comment who is involved, why can't we concentrate on what Netaji wanted his dream India to be and try to become more clear in your views and mature as a society.

The next person whom I want to talk about is also great he is the architect of the governments today he respective whichever political party is in power have you guessed I'm already? If you are still haven't let me tell you he is Dr BR Ambedkar we all know his name because the moment we say and talk about this great person we only get one thought in mind that is he fought against untouchability in India, even though we know that Ambedkar was the chairman of drafting committee for our constitution he has also worked in uplifting India in many ways he was the first law minister of India he was the first to reject the idea of the Aryan invasion theory in his book written by him in 1946 titled who were the shudras, Ambedkar views Shudra being part of the country of world in Indo Aryan society but became so  degraded after the inflicted many tyrannies on Brahmins.

According to Ambedkar, the Rig Veda says Aryans, Dasa and Dasyus were competing religions groups’ not different people.

Do you know the Reserve Bank of India was based on the ideas that Ambedkar presented to the Hilton young Commission?.

After the brief overview of 3 personalities among others I would like to end this passage by saying let us try to be us and not someone else, make a mark for ourselves and bring good to the society without expecting returns and make people realize that they could also think in similar lines like how we do and try to achieve something.

Banks have always been safe houses of deposits of the common man in any country, but lately, the banking industry has become messy with scamsters inside and outside these mammoth organisations.

Do we release who is the biggest victim if such scams keep happening its none other than us the depositors of the bank.

Recently we all came across this shocking news of a scam valuing to more than ₹11400 crores and still counting.

This shameless scamster Nirav Modi and his team of scamsters are now part of one of the biggest scams in India.

Just to give a brief idea of this scam in laymen terms, it is class one loan fraud where there are loans taken from the bank without any collaterals or even basic procedural controls and swindling bank money resulting in stock devaluation.

Here’s what actually happened on Jan 28^th, 2018.

Punjab National Bank (PNB), the country's second-largest public sector lender, is now in the middle of a ₹11,400 crore transaction fraud case.

On Wednesday morning, PNB informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that it has detected some "fraudulent and unauthorised transactions" in one of its branches in Mumbai to the tune of $1771.69 million (approx). Following the announcement, the share price of the State-owned bank plunged 10%.

Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) received two complaints from PNB against billionaire diamantaire Nirav Modi and a jewellery company alleging fraudulent transactions worth about ₹11,400 crore, the Press Trust of India reported. This is in addition to the ₹280 crore fraud case that he is already under investigation for, again filed by PNB.

Who is Nirav Modi?

Nirav Modi, the billionaire in the middle of this controversy, is a luxury diamond jewellery designer who was ranked #57 in the Forbes list of India's billionaires in 2017. He is the founder and creative director of the Nirav Modi chain of diamond jewellery retail stores and is the Chairman of Firestar International, the parent of the Nirav Modi chain, which has stores in key markets across the globe. His designs have been worn to the Oscars by 'Hidden Figures' star Taraji P. Henson and to the Golden Globes by Dakota Johnson, among others. Actor Priyanka Chopra is the brand ambassador.

How the fraud was detected

According to the complaint filed by PNB with the CBI on January 28, the fraudulent issuance of Letters of Undertakings (LOU) was detected at the Mid Corporate Branch, Brady House in Mumbai.

A set of partnership firms -- Diamond R US, Solar Exports and Stellar Diamonds -- approached the bank on January 16 with a set of import documents and requested for Buyer's Credit to make payments to overseas suppliers. The firms have Nirav Modi, his brother Nishal Modi, Mr Nirav's wife Ami Nirav Modi, and Mehul Chinubhai Chokshi as partners.

Buyers Credit is, typically, a short-term loan facility extended to an importer by a bank to finance goods and services. It is a common mode of transaction in international trade where a bank extends credit to the importer and a finance agency based in the exporter's country guarantees the loan.

As there was no sanctioned limit in the name of the firms, the branch officials requested the firms to furnish 100% cash margin for issuing the LOU for raising the Buyer's Credit. At this, the firms contested that they have been availing this facility in the past; but the branch records do not corroborate this.On digging further, the bank officials discovered that two of its employees had fraudulently issued LOUs in the past without following prescribed procedures and approvals. The employees had then transmitted SWIFT instructions to the overseas branches of Indian banks for raising Buyer's Credit without making entries in the banking system to avoid detection.

The complaint also said that the funds so raised for the payment of the Import Bills have not been utilised for such purposes in many cases.

As per the FIR, five of the SWIFT messages (SWIFT is a messaging network used by financial institutions to securely transmit instruction) were issued to Allahabad Bank in Hong Kong and three to Axis Bank in Hong Kong.

What will happen now?

One of the worrying aspects of the scam is that in its statement, PNB says that based on the fraudulent transactions, other banks appear to have advanced money to the customers abroad. It goes on to add that these transactions are contingent in nature and any liability arising out of these on the bank will have to be decided based on the law and genuineness of underlying transactions.

Meanwhile, Joint Secretary of Department of Financial Services Lok Rajan said “I don’t think this is out of control or too big a worry at this point. That is my broad sense.”

However, the ₹11,400 crore scam comes at a time when the Central government is attempting to provide a breather to ailing PSBs, having announced a ₹2.11 lakh crore capital infusion to the sector in October 2017.

As of now, as Reuters opined, the only good that could come out of the affair would be some fresh consideration to implementing better practices in public sector banking.

So the conclusion is that this was a hand in glove operation.

I urge the Government of India to use all its intelligence agencies to track this fraud down and take stringent action against such scamsters and bring them to justice and adjudicate them with the highest punishment available.

I would like to leave you with a question if the oldest banks have such type of insiders who help white-collar criminals get away then what is the belief in which we lock our money in banks?

The truth about you

Mind is more powerful than you can imagine, it actually knows all your hidden talents but it does not have an instrument or a medium to tell  you, instead it is you who should become the medium and open up this secretive mind before your soul departs from your body empty that treasure chest full of thoughts and talents buried deep inside your mind and understand the purpose of your living.

Another week just flew away with the winds of time, just as it flew away I got some fresh thoughts which I wanted to share it with all of you today.

How many of you have thought about this? Your fears, your source of happiness, what excites you the most your likes and dislikes.

Definitely, I am sure you would have some thoughts about atleast some questions which I have mentioned above.

But still, there will be hidden truths about ourselves which you understand as time moves on, or it would be identified by the people around you, still wondering what I am trying to tell you?

Just a  simple instance will help you out, assume there is a micro group study being conducted on a group of people. The group was asked to walk on a particular street when they were suddenly shown a village roadshow, a simple poor family trying to show them some rope tricks like tightrope walking and the balancing act.

How would they react when they saw is, let me give you some choices to help you guess: would they feel happy and be amazed by the talent of the performers, or would they feel bad thinking about the poverty situation in India and think about talking to those kids’ parents and helping them attend school, or just walk away.

Even though the above example is simple and straightforward, there are certain inferences which we can trace from it.

First and foremost the example is a classical situation analysis which is presented by many trainers which help to understand the trainees' mind.

If you felt happy and amazed: that would infer you are a simple thinker and you just live the moment and a focused thinker, basically, goal oriented your goals first and societal goals later.

OK! Seeing the performance you thought for a while, even though you felt a little bit happy in the first place you continued to think and finally the smiling curve on your chin turned into a glum posture, as you realized those children were in a hardship and you felt they deserved better.

The third kind of people would be less emotionally oriented in life or fall into the category of others if you consider this a micro group study.

I would like to discuss more on the second inference, let us just assume  some ten people felt bad about it and started getting thoughts in their mind ,you know the type of thoughts which won't stop, which would also lead to a will and determination to do something and change the situation which they saw.

These are types humans who actually try to change the countries state from the grass root, I salute to all such type of people who would like to think like that.

Moving on, let us put you and me in that situational group study, how would you react? suppose your reaction relates to the category 2, that means my friend you think differently and there are lots of things to be done by you and is pending I would say start doing it don’t worry about the society or the people who  try to oppose what you want to do until and unless it not causing hurt to this society or environment.

The feeling and motivation which you got from inside to do what you wanted differently is the truth about you, that is what who you are or who you wanted to be, let me tell you many of us just shy away from what we want to become and do something totally different which we were not actually prepared for, but still excel in that do you know what it means, it says you are so talented you can excel in a field which you are not great at, imagine if you find and search and bring out your hidden talents would not achive your life goals and also feel contented?

People say we all are gifted with some talent when we are born, some people are good enough to understand that at an early age ad they excel with their strengths which is again awesome.

For others who feel discontented in what they do, expose yourself to the society to situations, to movies,to live performances or watch televisions I am sure the hidden truths will come out and actually are coming out as you are reading this and it is all your mind, the only thing which is remaining is whether  you want to work towards what you want to be at the cost of anything or just keep it aside and enjoy the comfortable situation you are in currently!

So it is all in you as mentioned in the thought at the beginning of the blog.
