The voice that matters.

Hello readers’ Good Morning!

Hope you are doing good, merry Christmas and a happy new-year
J

"God is not present in idols. Your feelings are your god. The soul is your temple."
- Chanakya

The new-year is just five days away, so it’s the time to start writing or rather list the resolutions and try again to understand the meaning of our life and try to improve it and making it more meaningful.

So when we talk about voices they are very important in our life, we all definitely know what is a voice, it is that sound produced in the larynx and uttered through the mouth.

OK, let us do a small exercise I will give you some words just think about them and tell me the voices that first strikes you when you read these words: Leader, Teacher, friend, enemy, music, motivator, and argument.

I am sure you guys would have got your own names, these people first strike your mind because they have made an impact in your life these voices can be of your favorite actor or an actress or even a news reader or anyone.

But there is one universal voice that can break you or make you, and that is your own voice and this voice I am talking about is not that you use to speak or communicate with others but this is the voice which is always silent and only you can hear it but I can assure that this voice keeps speaking to you all the time and you always hear or rather listen to it.

We talk to our voices in every moment of our life, suppose you want to eat something and you see that when you are passing by near a random hotel that sense of jolly feeling rushes out from inside and someone says: Dude you love that stuff go grab a bite!

We always say we are directed by our mind, which I totally agree with but, we are aware that the mind talks to you and the tone has a meaning? You know this field is called mind narration which is a very advance branch of science I recently read about on mint, first time in USA a group of scientists and doctors defined this term, and devised a method to track down the thinking process of criminals.

From the above study they also found another good use of this research that even common men’s minds can be understood, so that they can think better and live better.

For example if you take a situation that you are walking on the road and you see one of your friend passing by, but unfortunately before you even could call him he tripped on the footpath and injured himself, so initially you were happy seeing him and was eager to meet him , but now after he fell you got a spark of sympathy and the voice changed inside and it sounds more protective which will reflect in your actions as well, so you make sure to go and help him and drop him home

Next time when you are suddenly face a situation, try to observe your own voice you can easily find out your thought process and how you are planning to overcome that problem and the whole process explained by the voice.

We are the best judges for ourselves we can cheat any number of people in this world but we cannot cheat ourselves as the voice already knows that what you did was not right and it is already in remorse for what you did.

When our actions are good this inner voice of the mind talks to you boldly at the same when we err the voice is submissive but tries to defend itself just to make you feel comfortable and that defense is being propelled by your own ego which always fools you by saying you’re always right. But at that moment when your voice was pale and not bold you have already erred and accepted your mistake.

This voice which is not heard by anyone in this world except for you is the best judge that you can depend on because it knows all about the actions you do and gives you the judgement each day.

Listen to your own voice, respect it and always consider The Voice before your next action.

Have a great weekend. I would like to thank each one of you for reading my blogs that motivation has made it possible to reach my first tiny milestone of 100 blogs.

Thank you all

Rewind.

Hello readers

Good morning hope you all are fine.

It’s not the years in your life that counts. It’s the life in your years.
-Abraham Lincoln

We live in the present always that is what we believe but, there is fact that most of us are aware, the light that we receive from the sun is old they call it a billion year old light since it is shining since then.

How fascinating it would have been when the scientists concluded this? Just put yourself in that lab, you will jump in joy.

I had recently been  to a historical place in Kerala it is called Kannur it is located on the west coast of "God's own country" I was impressed after seeing the forts built by the Portuguese and how it was forcefully taken away by the Dutch, the royal history of the Arrakal family and so on.

St. Anglo Fort Kannur, India
I was thinking all the time when I was seeing all these relics’, old buildings.

So what was I thinking? Well my first thought was these guys who came all the way from faraway countries who discovered the sea route  had great strategies in place, they were very enterprising and also clever business men who started taking control over our kings who were just money minded and very much in negotiation with the foreigners which we can see even today.

This is the time when India had become the trade hub and also an ironical war zone. I call it ironical because wars were fought between foreign countries where Indian soldiers where involved without no good motive.

The culture of working for others had begun at this time, so don't crib if you are working for an MNC now, well that was on a lighter note.

Then came an empire which just looted India in the name of East India Company.
So history is a brilliant subject to read and enjoy, keep rewinding back in time read about the managerial models followed down the time line that would help you to lead a better life, let us all become pilot archaeologists, and start understanding and unearthing unknown historical facts.

When you go back and read history nothing is unfair or fair because that moment is over and what happened was bound to happen and all the forces made that to happen, but there is a take away here, we have not been able to go back in time till now, but we can always learn from history and not repeat those mistakes made.

All the best and have a great weekend.

In Sync.

Hello readers

Hope you are doing great.

Maturity comes when you start making excuses and start making changes.
-Anonymous

There are certain places in this world which always needs workforce and literally works 24*7 it takes lot of courage to be in such jobs and the person who are employed in such places are certain to feel negative about their job at times, as a matter even I work in such a work culture but at the end of the day deep down my heart I feel happy and I get that one step ahead in maturity and understanding the situation.

When we talk about maturity, remember I have written about it earlier but, I would like to write a refresher on this looking it from another end of the room.

It is actually a very important value or component in a person's life.

We know the process of germination, after a farmer  sows the seeds his job is done, what happens next is pure chemical biology, which no technology can beat and this earth has the most advanced technologies built by nature which we can never fully replicate.

Now if we take the example of the germination process, the plant that is born after the seed you planted is already pre-determined like an algorithm it grows as if someone had programmed it to do so.

Similarly a person's nature is predetermined and to certain extent his view towards others, the way they solve issues and their cognitive view of this world.

So are we in sync?

The sync I am talking about is understanding people around you, sometimes I see people complaining about their peers that he will never understand us what is the problem with him and so on.
Whatever position we are Life we should have the skill to read people and understand them.

I see lot of misunderstandings that is happening in families where each person has his own interests and fails to show sympathy and empathy when needed; come one man is called the social animal I think that says it all.

I feel we should all develop this power which is already programmed and stored in our brains that ripens as we grow old and we call it maturity.

we need to understand our world around, and believe me if you first understand your world you will also achieve your goals easily as you are in sync :)

Thanks for your time have a nice day.

Ground-Zero.

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing great.

Don't ever let someone tell you, you can't do something not even me.
-Chris Gardner.

Another week ends at corporate; to be frank each day is a challenge here that makes me realize how much we are dependent on technology and other paraphernalia.

Sometimes I feel Mr James Cameron's imagination was right when he directed the movie judgement day or Terminator 2 as it is better known by us.

Hmm... So ground zero it is, I first heard this phrase on discovery channel in a documentary about building a space shuttle. It means the actually state or level of progress of the space programme.

The part that amused me was when I heard a scientist saying "ground zero is what I think about my project which is in the basic stage now just above the earth and I need to send it to the moon, rest of it which the public knows is what the PR manager thinks it is". After hearing this I was questioning myself so what the PR claims to be ground zero is actually not the actual truth, but the same time I cannot say that it was lies but I can say it is the way may be it should be reported.

The next I thought that shook me is that are my ground zeros' matching with my current situation in life? And I am frank enough to tell you that it is not all the time. So now if you think that “OK so this guy admitted today that he lies to people" I am sorry I don't lie, but my answers would have differences because of legitimate reason and would be justified.

For instance if you know that one of your relative will not make it and you have another member of your family, who is ill and you know he cannot take such a terrible news, so when he will ask how is that relative's health you cannot say he is about to die, you would have replied, well he is improving.

But there are certain other situations where people assume your ground zero and make statements which are only sweet to hear like when you say you are working in a big firm people think you would are happiest person, but you know the ground reality, which may be matching with their assumptions or it is a sad story where you realized it was mistake joining that job, and you absolutely hate it.

Yes life challenges all of us with these confusions where your hold yourself in not telling that actual experience of how you feel about. But you know that is actually normal, because everyone has their own prescriptive and you need to leave them to experience themselves and find out the ground reality.

I feel you should explain your actual experience to some people for whom it is helpful, for example you are working for a long time and a final year college going student is your friend so tell him how you feel about your job, you can tell him the truth, and reduce his rough ride in his career to certain extent and you will be contented that you helped someone today and all that years of hard work did help someone.

We all know the ground-zero of whatever we are doing and the most essential party is when you compare your own ground zero situation with your PR which I compare it to your own brain the answers should always match if they don't it is very unfortunate and shows you’re just cheating yourself.

Hope you enjoyed the discussion.

Thanks for your time have a great day ahead.

The Playlist.

Hi Guys

Good morning, hope you all are doing well.

Life is like a bicycle, to keep your balance you need to keep moving.
-Albert Einstein.

The weather is back to normal after a record breaking rain fall in Bangalore over the past two weeks.

The word “playlist” is familiar to all of us , when I think about this word I feel delight and remember my tiny MP 3 player which my dad  first bought me when I was in college.
To be frank I became an addict for some months, you know... it happens when you get a new gadget and you were the guy who was enjoying with a small radio and suddenly you get this brilliant device which can repeat the songs and also shuffle it, the way you want it to.

Then one day I lost my player, it was the most disappointing day for me, for obvious reasons yes I agree was missing it, my dad gave me a surprise and got me another one  I was on cloud nine and did not sleep that night and mapped all my favorite songs again in my desired order.
Even now I have the same player, though I have my smart phone I still tend to listen in this gizmo because it gives me that personal feel.

Music and movies go hand in hand with our lives from the age we started watching television we would be exposed to music I am especially talking about Indian movies where the choreography department is given more importance or so I read in an magazine some time ago.

I want to compare life to a playlist, this can be an audio playlist or a video playlist you make the choice. I prefer an audio playlist because I love genres of songs mixed  in a single list and all of them in a shuffle mode so the next song would not be predictable. Life is also like a shuffled playlist which is totally unpredictable.

When you listen to a song you will know the mood of the song like a happy one or a mellow, a sad song or purely romantic, when you get up at sunrise your mood is usually neutral and then your brain starts pod-casting the trends of the day depending on your day and how you think that day is going to be, suppose you have a gut feeling your job will be beyond the stipulated hours of working you will be that grim face guy from morning and will be relived at the end of that day, and pull out your phone or radio and listen to some song or watch a movie.

During exams we the kids of 90s' used to treat our players and radios as a companion.
Considering life as a playlist makes you feel light about your own life you will be more joyous then your now, you will expect the unexpected, because we have this window of say sixty to hundred years where we can do what we desire for some extent and the other half is dictated by your commitments and rule of the land. There is always a personal space for you, it depends on you how you use that time.

We all need our time alone in a day hum a tune, try to write something or start thinking about something beautiful and try to convert that thought into some action.

Playlist are great and personalized I want your lives to be personalized like a playlist where you decide the order of your own songs and genres. Suppose.Suppose you missed to define the correct playlist just redefine the order of the tracks  and check your flavour and select what is that  you like most and arrange it the way that  makes you glad.

Live happy and enjoy life, try to create the best playlist.

Thanks for your time and a happy weekend.

What I learnt from my dog?

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing well.

Be the person whom your dog thinks you are.
-J.W Stephens.

The world is in a paradox mode actually, people are killing each other and coming in groups and attacking nations, when I see these attacks I get only one thought that is: "why can't this world live in peace"? in our short journey why should we always think of causing pain to others, or creating sorrow in a family? People need to think like humans first rather acting worse than beasts.

When I talk about beasts I remember one the phenomenal stories like the Yeti, the enormous snowman whom I watched in the famous animated series ‘The adventures of Tin-tin’ that was the day I realized voice dubbing is a very difficult task after watching some making videos of this beautiful episode titled: ‘Tin-tin in Tibet’ which is about Tin-tin rescuing his friend Chan after he ends up in a plane crash, I wanted to mention this as  Herge the author of the original book, before it was animated  has pictured the kindness of Yeti who actually saves the boy after the air crash.

Beasts as they are called are actually very instinctive and innocent beings.

So now if I think and try to tell you what I learnt from dog? there is actually so much that I have learnt.

For starters I can tell you definitely I learnt what is patience from him, through his never lose hope attitude to get that share of his loaf of bread or a piece of rusk which we usually have a habit of eating in the mornings.

As I told earlier there is more to learn.I seriously felt I need to share these thoughts as they have helped me a lot to move on in life when I was struggling or when I was off the mood and felt rejected in life at that moment just admire your dog for a few minutes and your back.

My dog according to me is almost happy every time I see him,  I  do not have the power to read his thoughts,  but  I have seen him sad when I come back from work and he gives me  that stare: “see you don’t care about me!” But the moment I bring out the walking leash he forgets that sorrow and jumps to life.

We should interpret our lives also in the same way sadness is always temporary phase and I am sure we will be happy soon it is left to you to express happiness when happiness knocks on your door.

My dog is a simpleton, he does not argue with me but when I leave him after his bath without wiping him he starts requesting me to wipe him and allow him to play with his towel with his whimpering tone which makes you feel sorry for you in the beginning but later you realize it was scam.

Even though he whimpered to play with his towel, I understood how to request people and negotiate with them rather than staging a mindless argument.

People say dogs don’t have intelligence they just work on instinct, but I see that instinct as a commitment, which works like a binary code if there is strange noise in the lonely corner of my house “come lets investigate that” is the program in my dogs brain, rather like us humans analyzing the sound and just sleeping it off because we are intellects but, sometimes intellects like us neglect small things and end up in bad shape, from this I understood that , for certain situations we just need to be instinctive in life rather being over intellectual.

The best lesson I have learn from my 11 year old man is  the ever-enthusiasm, towards that simple walk, you wake him up from his  deepest of sleep he is ready there wagging his tail and jumping and ready to run out with me for a quick walk.

He understands our language way too well, that is the divinity I learnt from my dog. There is no need for a person to know language to understand what the other person is trying to say, the tone says it all.

I don’t want to mention faithfulness as a lesson as we all know dog is man’s best friend and also known as one of the most faithful animals in the world, but instead of faithfulness I want to put the word courage which he has and barks against an intruder who is trying to trespass, that gave me the lesson about being bold and fighting for the people whom you love irrespective of the situation.

A dog’s life span is 15 years, all through his life he will lead an innocent, honest and loyal life, how many of us can do that?

So guys can we conclude the so called ‘beasts’ are better than us who lead life with a purpose?
let us start learning from the environment around us and start correlating it with the way we live our lives and try to make it better, if you want to know the meaning of unconditional love, I stand by my statement that there is only being that I know who  can give to you, it’s your dog.

So let us respect divine beings like these and respect all the beings around us, and make this world a better place to live by showing our advancement in the species through our gentleness and maturity.

Thanks a lot for your time, have a nice day ahead.

Disagreement = development?

Hello readers

Hope you are doing great.

Talk to yourself once in a day, or else you may miss meeting an excellent person in this world.
-Swami Vivekananda.

Heavy rains in Bangalore from the past 3 days reminds me of the 90’s school reopening time when me and my friends jumped in the rain and laughed at children who used umbrellas, time flew away and now we are just upset about the traffic jams caused due to rains, if I compare both my reactions it is actually very funny and weird .The rain made me realise only one truth we are ruled by no one , but nature  that's God's own truth. Whatever we innovate and try to prove we are the most superior species on earth we still fall under the rules of nature.

We live this life by abiding by the rules of nature at the same time we also have designed some axioms to survive in our own communities and society.

OK! If we just look back in time, since how many years are we following these tiny packets containing methods to solve problems or fulfilling your needs? May be from 3-4 centuries we see there is definitely a paradigm shift from how it was and how it is now.

I am sure sometimes we get weird questions, who could contemplate of a solution like a cycle which would work without any fuel other than your own calories? The inventor of bicycle is my all-time role model.

There are many inventors like these who have woken up the world, I see one common objective in all these people that  is, they did not accept how they were living their lives, and wanted to stay alone from the crowd, that is actually the bravest thing one can do.

If you ask why is it such a difficult task to do? My simple explanation would be this: try not doing your favorite thing for few days; like reading your much-loved book or checking your phone or talking to the person or people whom you love the most  that will give you the taste of dissatisfaction and unrest.

To just keep doing what we do is fine and easy but going out of the way is more difficult than we imagine, it is such a delicate feeling that, there are evidences of people parting their ways in life, relationships breaking just because the latter did not agree to the former’s idea, we have perceived many joint ventures in the world breaking up and becoming individual companies.

Standing up to a person and going in contradiction of him in life is a very difficult task, each day we agree with certain happenings around us and we don’t agree with some,  this is decided by your neural networks in the medieval cortex of your brain, the fastest decision center in the world, so can we say that if your medieval cortex is fully developed or a dominant part of our brain it is easy to stand alone in that crowd and say no to the entire crowd present there, no it is a very tough job, because along with your neural network your own will fights against you and tries to make you weak and tired when you want to stand.

Michael Jackson,  whom I consider the greatest creator of pop music of my generation used to sit on a tree in his Multi-billion dollar Never-land ranch , when he was asked in an interview mockingly: is this not odd?  to sit there like a monkey and write your number 1 labels? He smiled and responded after all I am an evolved monkey, and I respect my earlier species from whom we developed to be more intelligent today, that is how you stand by your decision he appeared on the time magazine for that answer by the way.

If monkeys, the early species of homo-sapiens had given up on their survival we would be history like the dinosaurs. There was one among them whom would have stood their and made some innovation that motivated others to create ways to continue living.

We all are alive today only because of the power and determination and survival given by your older species, who determined to just ‘live’ first, that was there basic task to accomplish. Now after that ‘living’ is considered an easy task for most of us we have built this society and live by the man-made laws, but I feel we are always free from the laws until and unless we don’t do anything idiotic and stupid.

The whole world

Let’s take one species: man, and consider the whole world has no differences you know like political, fiscal and socio-economic,  demographic and so on, we all get a spark in our brains and smile in our heart wow Man! we can we can meet so many people, so many new things to learn , fresh inventions and a better world, and you standing up  against someone won’t matter because you both are sharing a common goal that is betterment and we can say you guys are having an discussion rather than an argument.

So next time, when you argue with your boss be happy because you are out of the ordinary and you use your brain rather than punching your time card and do the same thing the next day and feel sorry you took up that job.

Let’s admire all the great thinkers who are OK! to stand alone against a thousand folks who agree, I am basically fan of such people and want to thank them today.

So that is right thing to do respect the feelings of very few people in this world who matter to you and do what your heart says, and yes if you disagree with a person both of you would learn something good at the end of that discussion.

Have a great day guys, thank you for your time.

The Beautiful Struggle: Pain in the Pursuit of Dreams

Hello Readers I hope you are fine today. It's good to be blogging after a while. I wrote about the pains and struggles, as well as what...
