Blue Tick

Hello Readers

Hope you are doing fine today.

Deep conversations with the right people are priceless.

-Anonymous

The title of this blog will spring up many thoughts. First and foremost, you will feel it is about messaging applications, conversations, IP messaging platforms, and so on.

Okay, I would say you guys are close enough, but not yet far.

Keep the guessing game on the sides, let's start blogging!

The journey started with telegraphic wires, the radio, the telephone, microwave communication, mobile phone, and the internet. Here we are with the facility to communicate in a fraction of the second to almost any corner of the world.

From single tone messages to live video conferencing, a significant leap in the field of communication in the last century.

Since the year 2010, the mobile phone market boomed with the introduction of iPhones' and Android phones taking over the world.

These phones and technology also led application developers to make something new each day and every day.

IP messengers like WhatsApp, messenger, telegram, Viber, and hike began and became a part of our lives.

The advancement of communication technology, helped us build networks, make new friends across the world.

Even though the vibe is so positive around all of this, there is a cloud of incidents.

Someone gave up his life because he did not get a response to his message. Colour of a tick is larger than life?

A person died while taking a picture at the edge of a cliff to make it viral.

These apps were made for our convenience, but we all took into a different direction. We defined new uses of these apps that are not useful.

We need to use these apps just as an instrument to communicate and nothing more than that.

Try to understand people, try to understand conversations, and achieve your goals rather than get trapped in a forwarding loop.

Remember, these apps are built by humans and run by servers, but the users are again humans, so do not forget the human touch in this and take conversations lightly and let it not get to your mind.

Lastly, mind your privacy. You are on the internet there are many back-doors, for which selected people have keys.

Thanks for your time.

Enjoy your day!

Mind waves

Hello Readers

Hope you all are doing well.

Rule your mind, or your mind will rule you.

-The Buddha

We have travelled two decades in the 2000 AD, we have all gone through changes during these years, what an exciting journey it has been!

My first blog for this year! A lot of expectations from readers, some people already have been sending emails asking why did I miss the first week?

Maybe the new year is still sinking into me! Will stick on my weekly schedule starting today.

Let us start this year with some positive thoughts and zeal to sail through this year, just like we did the previous one with so much of hardships and a living style which we did not imagine we would end up in.

I know I have written about mind, body and soul but wanted to try something new.

I was reading some articles about healing minds and soul on the internet.

I learnt a lot actually, and I realised some of the most common things that people may tell you or you are telling them may have an effect on your mind!

 The Tissue theory

One of the articles written by one of the most reputed medical schools said that we should consider our mind like a tissue, it too can get bruises, wounds sometimes even fractures!

When they say bruises and wounds, do they mean something biological here?

Actually not, the tissue theory tries to explain and compare our mental morale and our reactions and its effects on our mind.

Happiness, excitement, anxiety, tensed, mellow, dull, sorrow, and finally depressed are all the significant phases we go through daily.

We need to understand in each stage of our lives we handle these expressions differently.

Why do I say so? Let me explain, imagine a kid he feels happy when someone gets him candy or a toy.

Imagine the same kid, now is a teenager, now someone gets him a candy, will he feel the same happiness what he felt when he was of younger age, no it would be a subtle reaction.

So they did this sample test on dozens of people of different age groups, and they inferred that the age groups at the extreme ends of the graph had almost the same the reaction.

So that means the youngest and the oldest almost have the same reactions.

Inference: Life is a bell curve you feel excited for the simplest of things when you have a journey in the train of life!

Moving on, you know the most significant part of life is how you react to situations and conversations that will help you stay healthy, both mentally and physically.

The way you react will affect your mind, so stability at its peak is most important at this point in our lives.

The situations, life events can be unpredictable. Can you handle it like an anti-gravity cup designed to not tip over the coffee it contains, at any challenging angle?

If we start trying and suppress the trends of thoughts, we get in our mind daily and filter only the worthy ones we have achieved our goal partially, the other half is on you.

Sit for some time and evaluate, what is going good with you and what is going south.

Start the systematic process of analyzing the incoming thoughts and filtering out only what makes you happy.

A message to the people around us is that it spreads positivity to the world, which will only add more positive energy to you.

When you speak to your sons or daughters, put yourself in their shoes and think, do not hurt them because they are already going through so much in these challenging times, remember mind is a tissue!

A healthy mind is a strong body.

Wishing you all a happy year ahead.

 Thank you

 Helios.

Inn - A blog about Hotels.

 Hello Readers

Hope you are doing well

A goal without a plan, is just wish.

-Antoine De Saint – Exupery

Keep that baggage inside, told the lady, Wow! What a spacious room and well-lit too! Exclaimed the kid.

These were the voices of a family, who came out of town for an outing, and their reactions when they saw their hotel room when they checked in.

Today wanted to talk about hotels and hospitality business.

The oldest hotel in the world is in Japan. The Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan, a Japanese resort not far from Mount Fuji, has been in business since 705 A.D.

I am part of bloggers forum, where they put the top trending blogs every month,  here are the top five trends:

Success stories of entrepreneurs, car reviews, pandemics, hotels & hospitality, and emotional help for depression and other people issues.

About this big industry called hospitality, accommodation, hotels, resorts, and its services.

There are these two aspects of life that matter the most. What did you want to do and today when you doing whatever for your living is it matching you’re your initial pursuit?

I wrote about the two aspects because the second facet correlates to the stories of famous hoteliers.

Usually for such dynamic topics I go out and talk to people from particular field, Due to this situation, I did not step out and take interviews with such businessmen. Still, I read a lot on the internet, watched some great videos on TED and curiosity feed, and understood these ventures and how they manage it.

For instance, if we read about the famous Hilton hotel story, it was founded by Conrad Hilton, a 40 room Mobley hotel in Cisco, Texas in 1919.

Slowly and steadily, he went on to buy the Roosevelt hotel and the plaza hotel. Today, this hotel's chain is one of the biggest and a symbol of hotels all over the world.

Well, the above is a classic story of a mighty businessman attaining success in his business.

But there are many other places where small businessmen and even homemakers tried to start a business for people to eat, which is a success.

In India, you have famous names like the Adiga's from Karnataka the Saravana bhavan and Adiyar brands from Tamil Nadu which have set up their hotels allover India and even in the U.S. and U.K and are symbol of their success.

This morning, I watched a video on YouTube about a celebrity: Shine Shetty, a small screen actor, due to the pandemic and everything he lost his contracts and switched to the cooking business, now owns a street truck in Bengaluru! He calls it Galli kitchen!

The stories are endless. Each time a person starts an eatery that is more than just business, it is a journey it is coupled with service-mindedness and hospitality.

The hotel industry is rated as the third successful business type in the world.

You know even a small tea shop can convert into a billion-dollar venture all it takes is a human touch. The connect you establish with your customers.

In the spirit of entrepreneurship, let me wish all the folks who are about to start, already started and maybe running an eatery business successfully all the best.

Each guest who enters a hotel casually to eat or check-ins to a hotel to stay during travel wants to feel at home. This is the beginning of the guest cycle, the challenge the hotel owners and people involved sign up for.

Thanks for your time.

Happy holidays!
