Μεταφραστές-Translators -Traducteurs-ಅನುವಾದಕರು-மொழிபெயர்ப்பாளர்கள்-

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing well

Language is the blood of the soul into which thoughts run and out which they grow.

-Oliver Wendell Holmes, Former Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States .

The essential requirement for survival and enjoying this planet is communication, and we call our earth as organic, not because all species are alive and breathing; it is also because we all communicate.

We, humans, invented language; animals did not create but still have their own way of communication.

The languages were demographically split across the length and breadth of the globe, and many languages emerged.

So the populations across the globe started to evolve learnt languages invested time in research invented things which are useful for improving their standard of living all this is collectively called as a civilization.

Next came the explorations. They started discovering sea routes Ferdinand Magellan circumnavigated the globe. Columbus and Vasco da Gama found sea routes to Asia and India, Amerigo Vespucci to America, the world was not getting connected with its culture and knowing people.

So what was the barrier here, do you even think there were any barriers when two people from two unknown locations meet?

Of course, there the first among the many hurdles would be communicated.

There is a quote which goes back a long way “language is code” this is from the renaissance period, which was the first cultural and scientific change recorded in the modern period.

Language is a code, just look at India; it has so many styles and dialects, we may say the root of words in India is from the from Tamil and Sanskrit., and all other languages are branches of these languages. However, still, each style is unique in its own way.

The learning part is not so tricky; you learn a language at home that would be your traditional language or the famous mother tongue. The learning process evolves when you attend school when you meet new people and learn words as subjects in school, your language skills grow, as you are in the rhythm of learning each grade after grade.

Now there are so many languages in the world, imagine great leaders meet to discuss important issues which can change the status of countries by many ways, how do they communicate so quickly if they do not understand each other ?

Here come the translators. Who are they?

They are a group of people who are linguists who master many languages and help people of all walks of life and become a bridge between two people to convey their messages and help in the process of communication.

We have to realize this fact that translators were a key during the world war, they were considered as necessary as the red cross!
The motive behind this passage is that we are living in an information explosion era, where everything is just a finger swipe away.

But just think how we have arrived here, the methods they would have devised to understand languages and then translate it, it makes my head spin just to think of it.

After the lingual translation, there is another field of study called the specialized translation where professionals help the deaf and dumb people to understand the news, for instance, I feel these are righteous acts.

The latest advancement is the application world, and now you can learn, type and translate and understand any language you wish to,  some great applications like google translate, waygo, Microsoft translator, and text grabber have made this possible.

I am particularly impressed by the ease of usage and dummy-proof of these apps.

I appreciate the developers because these are just  not a regular apps, they are  bringing the world together and  giving a new dimension to communication.

Try learning new languages, I think that is an excellent hobby , it helps you explore the world of literature .

Thanks for your support as always. Let me know your opinion.
Let’s all hope and pray the situation of the world improves

my next blog is  on the pandemic.

Skyrocket

Hello readers

Hope you are doing great today.

Self knowledge is the beginning  of the self- improvement
-Anonymous

This topic was in my mind for a long time, it's about scaling up.
What do I mean when I say scale up? It is just not skilled development for your professional life or you building body for your physical fitness and appearance.

This is something very different this is understanding yourself your environment and the all the people whom you interact with it.

Even today there are certain aspects of life we need to learn by ourselves, an example where to talk, how to talk, whom to talk, how to talk? Even though it is a million-dollar industry, it is just a curtain opener to all of us, but definitely, finally, only self-learning and experience pay off.

I would say other than the academcis and all that paraphernalia we ought to consider the above equally or more than essential because these are life skills.

You prepare a great profile and talk well, you crack an interview, and you get a desk to work, but what next after that? That is where all your non-academic skill or what is called the interpersonal skills come to picture.

Even though there is a paradigm shift in the Indian education system where just read your book and take loads of homework to home policy has come down, the teachers and the management have opened up to innovative learning methods. Still, there will be some gaps which need to fill.

That is where we need to scale up, you as a person needs to scale up, talk to people, network not just with your team try to network with unknown faces each day a new face, they might travel with you to office, but we never talk to them, outside work as well explore new places meet new people.

Facebook and all the other social networking platforms were made to connect people at first, in his own words Mark Zukerberg said and I quote "We made Facebook connect people without any boundaries, and we encourage people to use it only for this", but now there is no need to explain how people are using these websites.

Of course, Mr.Zukerberg is happy for obvious reasons, the best business model in the world I would say.

We all need to scale up, never be just satisfied with what you are today, try to scale up your skills each day and try to become better each day, I feel that will solve two problems that are feeling worried because you keep your mind occupied in improving yourself. Two, you will understand life like never before.

When I started writing, people told me it is not my cup of tea. They asked to stop due to typos and paragraph structures. Still, I tried to scale up, and yes, it's been a pleasant writing journey for me till now.

I realised persistence, determination and putting my mind on it has brought me till here, and please ignore all those grumpy faces who don't want to achieve anything in their life and also don't let others to even think.

So be done with the complaining, whining and sobbing apart and scale up like a rocket!

Thanks a lot for your time
Helios.

Life - An Epiphany

Hello Readers

I hope all of you are doing well today.

All my readers who are reading my blog since 2014 know that I start my blogs either in this hope of well-being or asking the question of wellness, interestingly I have received many responses from all you that asking this is a lovely way to start a blog.

Thank you for echoing my views about well-being guys because my intention of asking these two questions is the hope of well-being and a sense of assurance that this world is still is filled with a lot of joy and happiness, and it has to be that way!

Also a heads up my blogs are also live on medium.com the world’s biggest readers' community thanks for your support as always.

Okay, so this one is about experiences and what we can learn from them.

When you talk about this word experience, nowadays it kicks thoughts of paying for experiences, the hotels, the resorts, the amusement parks and so on. But, here the point of discussion is about our daily life experiences which define us!

All of us have gone through experiences  and are still going through and definitely will go through in future.

What is actually an experience? It is know-how which we all go through in different stages of your life, it starts with your first laugh, which is a magical experience to your parent, your first walk which is a great moment for both you and your caretakers.

The experiences follow without stopping and now when you are reading this blog, your mind is recalling the expertise which you had recently. According to perceptive psychology, the brain triggers thoughts on what you see or read as you read along that is how the doctors say, we learn!

Live through is the common synonym used for experience, it is a process which is never completed when you undergo something, and you have come out of it, the next page begins to evolve itself. Before you know, it labelled as a new perspicacity.

It is inevitable and not at all under our control of what all have we gone through in this small specks of hope, joy, sorrow, fear and confusion called life!

There is a thin line between life and bereavement, life gives enough chances before your thin line starts to crack. Do we take the opportunities and make this life meaningful or fall prey to both your mind and brain which play the games of joy, disappointment, ego, fear and expectations with you?

We all need to start reading books is what i feel, you will learn great things about life and I think books are the best source of knowledge I am pretty sure internet will reach there someday, but as of now it is books for sure.

We evolve each day, and it is a process the people around you will have their own expectations on you, but you move in your track and reach your destination, be a pioneer rather than an imitator.

The most important part: The reactions which are part of our lives which is the response to the stimuli.

I have had many ups and downs in my life I am frank and candid in agreeing on that, some repulsive ones and some not so ugly ones, my initial reactions to all those were just like any other, what the psychologists call the fight or flight response.

Fight response : Is when your brain thinks you are in a threat and dangerous situation, tries to make you feel secure and be defensive to the stimuli, this can be triggered by simple argument with your friend, colleague, family or some phenomenal event, once you win that argument your ego is enriched, and you feel superior.

Flight: Is Again when your brain thinks you are in grave danger and instructs you to run away from a situation without looking back and tries to pacify and also assure that what you have done is right, your body will be relaxed once you distance away from that situation.

I hope I did not off-track from the core discussion, but, I had to explain the above as this forms the basis of how we take experiences in life.

Suppose in an interview they ask you what is your experience you proudly answer, but do we know what that number means?

It is not just those years, you punched on a payroll, it is those precious hours of work cycles you spent by contributing, sharing your emotions, happiness and sadness with all those people whom you worked with without even knowing that you did that! And your experiences is the sum total of all this.

When there is a tremor, everything on the land shakes and falls apart, but they grow back to what they were if they have given been enough, this is the law of nature.

So be ready for your next experience, enjoy it and learn and move forward, live this life to the fullest.

Life will give you whatever experience is the most for the evolution of your consciousness.
-Eckhart Tolle -A spiritual teacher

Experiences try to teach you a lot and always make you better, but do you have the acumen to tap those strings and understand the music of life ? is what you need to figure out, wishing you all the very best in your adventure and also wish you to come out of the meaningless curtain of stress your brain  created.

Life is definitely is an epiphany all through, but when do you understand this is the question.

Thanks for your time.
