Miracles and Magic.

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing well.

There is no bad religion, there are bad people!
-Morgan Freeman

I like magic very much it is an illusion and also a science. When I watch illusion experts like dynamo, Cyril and many more. The way they bring that sense of astonishment in the minds of the spectator is brilliant.

But is there a modification between miracle and magic.

People say miracles happen. So now why do people say that? Because miracle means: an event not explicable by natural or scientific laws. Such an event may be attributed to a supernatural being (god or gods), magic, a miracle worker, a saint or a religious leader.

Magic means: the power of apparently influencing events by using mysterious or supernatural forces.

So both the events are not explainable by usual logic of physics and material science, and magic usually a man-made event purely a delusion.

Now let  focus on miracles, even though we feel the saints or a religious worker can perform miracles, I say that daily in our own lives there miracles happening , OK now you want me name some? Here it goes the first and foremost I would consider as a miracle is my own body the way it has been designed and its working, each one of us are blessed to be alive and well.

The second miracle would be the brain’s amazing ability to think and learn, without these two words I Don’t think the humans would have advanced so much on this earth.

There are certain other miracles which happen in everyone’s life, like the most unexpected that you would never dream happened to you, like winning a race against a really smart competitor.  Don’t think that I am talking only good about miracles, bad miracles do happen, so what is a bad miracle?

You are on your way to some place, and being there means a lot to you but your car suddenly breaks down and you missed the appointment. You were disappointed that day, as you missed that opportunity.

The next day you got that task completed in an easier way from some other source, you felt at that moment may be my car breaking down yesterday was the best thing that could happen.

So we need to accept what is currently happening with us and try to find the light in a dark tunnel, instead just sitting in a lonely dark corner and feeling helpless.

Steve jobs once said in one of his speeches I quote “Getting fired from my own company (Apple Inc.) that I built was the best thing to happen to me as I found my lady for life who later became my wife and who helped me build back my lost confidence which helped me to go back to Apple again.” What a miracle!

We should always try to get the best of the waste and should not get frustrated for silly events which happen around us, the day we get that umpiring power and maturity and understand the situation around us; we will see miracles happening often.

Stop being stereotype to yourself as well the people around you, be like software which is always updated, and live in the present.

All the best, thanks a lot for your time.

The Weeping Soldier.

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing well.

If you have a problem, if you have a solution for that then why worry? If you have a problem it's beyond your control and you cannot do anything about it, then why worry?
-Gaur Gopal Prabhu.

This thought was told by a swami his name is Guar Gopal Prabhu he is very much hilarious, he has a unique way of explaining the lessons of life. He makes you laugh at the same time will teach the best lessons of life.

Sometimes I feel our life is just a paradox, we talk about morals and great thoughts, but when it comes to implementation we would not like to abide by our values and we step back.

Why is this such a Paradox at the end the day does this all converge at point where we say we are humans and we have our limitations? Come on then what is the point we claiming ourselves that we are the most evolved species and all that research?

What is your point that we all come converge at?

I have some points of convergence like this one; every man on this earth does whatever he does, for food, clothing and shelter?

Can you counter me on that and say “no! I know group of people who say we are different are not so much life-loving and we are ready to die for a cause.”

I completely agree with you there are people who go above all that matters to them for a cause and the first group I would like to mention are the soldiers, for whom this country is something different and the way they look at it is not even close to what you and me think about.

On 18th of February there was an interesting debate in the National television Times now and we all know the famous news show called the ‘News Hour’ hosted by Mr. Arnab Goswami whom I admire very much for his blunt honesty and the attitude to bring the ugly truths of India out on T.V. he shows what is really going on in this Country , so the debate was about the hoisting of Indian flag in all central Varsities, I was personally stunned by the negative response of some of the panelists like a gentleman who claims to be a professor  from Jabalpur university and another person who said this is an example of extreme nationalism!

I mean what are these people talking about? If you talk about the professor who says the universities have their own flags there are no need for national flag to be hoisted there! This man is supposed to be teaching good thoughts to his students and help them to become useful citizens to the country and also to the world!

To Ajay Alok who said it is extreme nationalism, sir just think how hard have the great martyrs who struggled before we got freedom and the endless lists of Jawans who gave their life for that flag? After we became a sovereign republic, they gave their life not for their names to be seen in the Amar Jawan list, but for you, as they feel you are the child of Mother India who needs to be protected.

There were two ladies one of them was an advocate and another was a journalist, who were questioning the HRD minister of the timing of this rule imposed, even if I consider this point I say this was the correct timing, as we seen in the medieval periods and in the modern history where leaders had to motivate the people to build the bonds of unity.

Gandhi instructed to burn all the British produced products in the street to promote Swadeshi movement please tell me why was that done do you question his timing?

I am still wondering whom are these people supporting? are they happy if people like Afsal Guru come in thousands and keep  each and every citizen of this country at gun point and say surrender yourself and laugh devilishly and say India is history?

This is the paradox , we all read Indian constitution and say we love our country we are Indians, but the most unfortunate part is that we are not sure whom are we supporting , and we absolutely have forgotten the meaning of this word called unity!

At the end of the heated debate, General G.D Bakshi broke his silence and broke into tears! I mean that says it all; a retired army officer is crying to today  not because of the useless argument about the flag, but thinking about his entire men who perished in the battle filed for that flag! It is like a great worrier is stabbed by his own men and calls him a fool!

Of course this is not a knee-jerk reaction that I have written this blog, but I want to spread the message to the people who feel India lacks unity and I salute G.D Bakshi Sahib and I am with him, millions and millions of Indians are with him

Wake up everyone we have to show we are one again, wake that sleeping patriot in new and condemn such people who want to polarize India.

Thanks for your time, enjoy the evening.

The Importance Of Belief.

Hello readers

Great to be back.

You can have anything you want if you are willing to give up the belief that you can't have it.
-Robert Anthony

We must always try to understand the deeper meaning of any statement or conversations before jumping into conclusions.

Belief is a very powerful thing in this world, almost each and every aspect of our life depends on it.

If we take our birthdays, it is just a belief that you believe what your parents said that, you were born on that particular date and you celebrate that as your birthday each year! Have you questioned yourself or them for proof?  no! Not at all for the simple reason that they are your parents and you are devoted to them and believe them.

Our life is funny we live on many beliefs and when what you were believing suddenly is not what you think you will be in a sense of shock for some time,  because you are confused and never anticipated that to happen.

But there is proverb which says “always expect the unexpected” some time back when I was in school, I was reading some book about studying smartly rather than hard, in that book he had given an example about finding answers to questions, one of the way correlates with the proverb, the author says “when you search answers for a question search in the deepest cupboards of your brain where you would have never thought that you find it and there is your answer”.

The reason I quoted that proverb and also my example is that generations are getting rotten to such an extent that our beliefs on simple things are vanishing from one sun rise to sun set.
The only mighty sources of belief I see are our soldiers who believe in their duty and are ready to call it a day even with their lives as a full stop for that day!

Seriously when you start thinking at that level you will seriously laugh at yourself for the silly things you always thought you were back-stabbed by your closest friend.

The world today is living on  belief a child’s belief towards its mother, a mother’s belief towards her husband, an employee’s belief towards his work place and boss.

Believing in someone is very important and as the generations are progressing the strong network of beliefs are getting fragmented and weak due to materialism and selfishness, break of trust between us.

Even though we say animals live on instinct, I admire their belief in them for instance, if you consider a dog he is devoted to his master and he is faithful and believes his master will never do something which will hurt him, even if he beaten  the poor animal first feels sad for the pain he suffered but again will never lose the belief  that his owner is a good man.

I recommend you all to watch the movie Hachiko which is based on a true story from Japan; we can understand the true meaning of belief,  hope and unconditional love from this beautiful movie.

Believe in right people and also have a character that proves you’re a man people can believe, because even in the advanced ages of technology people are searching hard to find a right person with whom they can share their happiness and sorrows.

Thanks for your time have a great weekend ahead.

Mind's eye.

Hello readers

Worry is the misuse of imagination.
-Dan Zadra

Hope you all are doing well.

I admire great movies because they show the true capabilities of the film director’s power of imagination in tele-porting the viewer’s mind to his land of imagination and thinking, my teacher used to say I wish I was a movie director who could draw your attention towards studies because you guys see the movies with so much more concentration :)

The power of imagination is actually brilliant, the result of which is our present world.

The coliseum of Rome, the beautiful temples of India, the great plays written by Shakespeare the list almost endless.

These monuments and literary works show us how a human being or a group of thinkers can materialize their thought into action from action to a monument  or a literary work or a beautiful book.

We all know there is always a positive and negative when we discuss even about the minute things. There are definitely some negatives about imagination as well....what are they? People sometime get lost in imaginations which is a serious concern.

The reason I say it is serious is I see people lost in a world which does not have any logical meaning and there are other people,  who assume things which do not have any logic and end up worrying about it to such an extent that it affects their physical health beyond repair this is not at all exaggerated there are many incidents like this we all would have witnessed.

Let’s think about this question why people imagine things that won’t even exist? and worry about it and feel worked up I feel the answer for this is,  people feel insecure at times by seeing the way the things are going for them and tend to imagine either better things are worse about what they are thinking.

For instance you are waiting for your dad who has gone to work and yet to return home usually he is back by 7.30 PM but today he is still not back and now it is 9PM and unfortunately he has not carried his phone that day.

So now you can react to this situation in two ways; you assume that he may be stuck at office with some work and he will be back at the earliest and to kill your boredom you watch TV, or you get worked up and start walking inside your gate in circles feeling tensed about it.

The reaction pattern of the first group of people is positive or optimistic where they logically thought about the situation and stopped worrying, but the second group of people started imaging stuff which might be negative and got totally tensed.

This is the mind game of imagination it can make you or break you.

The fair thing to do is try to be realistic always,  do not get carried away by your brain power to imagine as it can get dangerous at times.

Imagination for a purpose is a great art as mentioned earlier the world we know today is someone’s imagination, but if you imagine wrong things it first affects your mental health then your physical health and it also affects the people around you.

So leave it you to choose what you want to see from your mind's eye.

Have a great day ahead.
