One life- A Perspective.

Hello Readers

Hope you all are doing fine.

God is in all men, but all men are not in God; that is why we suffer;
If you must be mad, be it not for the things of the world. Be mad with the love of God.

-Swami Vivekananda

Hmm... Again here comes the weekend and I am ready to talk to you on yet another focus.

Want to start with little bit of my blogging journey, I have written 175 blogs and this is my 176th blog, when I think about the feedbacks I have received for all those topics I have written there has been positive and negative ones which is very healthy and generally people have said I get stuck in a redundant cycles sometimes where I have ended up repeating what I have written.  I would like to thank each one of you for considering reading what I write and the motivation and will surely work towards improving my blogs.

One life is what we all have, and what we achieve in this one life is the point I want to touch upon.

I got this idea actually after reading a 70+ page speech of Sri Swami Vivekananda called “The master” the only book where the Swami speaks about his guru Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.

I learnt lot of truths after reading this book; I would like to share some of it.

The book speaks about the golden truths of life like how should a teacher behave? And first of all who is a teacher? What is the actual meaning of religion?

You know these are all basic questions for which we have got many answers which we now consider standard and noble but this article gave me a new perspective of thinking about:

The rich traditions and culture of India, the comparison of the Indian society and the occidental society, how the Indians thought of this world which was way more matured than a Western men’s business minded thinking.

There is a particular chapter about women in this context it is all about Sri Sarada Devi the guru Matha of the Swami and the consort of Sri Ramakrishna whom he considered as a mother all through his life, and which was gladly accepted by the great Sannyasin, it says “ even in the midst of the ignorance in which the average Hindu woman lives, the midst of what you call the western countries lack of freedom ,there would arise a woman of this supreme spirituality, who stood by Ramakrishna till he left his body as his mother.

Well I would urge everyone to read this book “My master” to experience how life can be.

Some takeaways I learned after reading: The level of thinking of each and every individual in India should try to think in similar lines beyond religion, beyond temples churches and mosques and first understand the true meaning of religion.

Understand what it is to be a teacher is and what can a teacher give his disciple if he thinks only in the upliftment of his student in a totally selfless attitude.

A total non-materialistic view of this society which will just astonish us and which proves is the core strength in the unity which defines India.

We need to remember the people who lived and who have created a bright path for us to lead our future generations, I am very sure I will carry the torch and show this path to as much as people I can,  and spread this message to me next generation.

Why don’t we all join and make this mission a great success?

So this life, this one rare life what has been gifted us by this universe put it to best of use and become an example for the generations to come.

Good day.

Disagreement = development?

Hello readers

Hope you are doing great.

Talk to yourself once in a day, or else you may miss meeting an excellent person in this world.
-Swami Vivekananda.

Heavy rains in Bangalore from the past 3 days reminds me of the 90’s school reopening time when me and my friends jumped in the rain and laughed at children who used umbrellas, time flew away and now we are just upset about the traffic jams caused due to rains, if I compare both my reactions it is actually very funny and weird .The rain made me realise only one truth we are ruled by no one , but nature  that's God's own truth. Whatever we innovate and try to prove we are the most superior species on earth we still fall under the rules of nature.

We live this life by abiding by the rules of nature at the same time we also have designed some axioms to survive in our own communities and society.

OK! If we just look back in time, since how many years are we following these tiny packets containing methods to solve problems or fulfilling your needs? May be from 3-4 centuries we see there is definitely a paradigm shift from how it was and how it is now.

I am sure sometimes we get weird questions, who could contemplate of a solution like a cycle which would work without any fuel other than your own calories? The inventor of bicycle is my all-time role model.

There are many inventors like these who have woken up the world, I see one common objective in all these people that  is, they did not accept how they were living their lives, and wanted to stay alone from the crowd, that is actually the bravest thing one can do.

If you ask why is it such a difficult task to do? My simple explanation would be this: try not doing your favorite thing for few days; like reading your much-loved book or checking your phone or talking to the person or people whom you love the most  that will give you the taste of dissatisfaction and unrest.

To just keep doing what we do is fine and easy but going out of the way is more difficult than we imagine, it is such a delicate feeling that, there are evidences of people parting their ways in life, relationships breaking just because the latter did not agree to the former’s idea, we have perceived many joint ventures in the world breaking up and becoming individual companies.

Standing up to a person and going in contradiction of him in life is a very difficult task, each day we agree with certain happenings around us and we don’t agree with some,  this is decided by your neural networks in the medieval cortex of your brain, the fastest decision center in the world, so can we say that if your medieval cortex is fully developed or a dominant part of our brain it is easy to stand alone in that crowd and say no to the entire crowd present there, no it is a very tough job, because along with your neural network your own will fights against you and tries to make you weak and tired when you want to stand.

Michael Jackson,  whom I consider the greatest creator of pop music of my generation used to sit on a tree in his Multi-billion dollar Never-land ranch , when he was asked in an interview mockingly: is this not odd?  to sit there like a monkey and write your number 1 labels? He smiled and responded after all I am an evolved monkey, and I respect my earlier species from whom we developed to be more intelligent today, that is how you stand by your decision he appeared on the time magazine for that answer by the way.

If monkeys, the early species of homo-sapiens had given up on their survival we would be history like the dinosaurs. There was one among them whom would have stood their and made some innovation that motivated others to create ways to continue living.

We all are alive today only because of the power and determination and survival given by your older species, who determined to just ‘live’ first, that was there basic task to accomplish. Now after that ‘living’ is considered an easy task for most of us we have built this society and live by the man-made laws, but I feel we are always free from the laws until and unless we don’t do anything idiotic and stupid.

The whole world

Let’s take one species: man, and consider the whole world has no differences you know like political, fiscal and socio-economic,  demographic and so on, we all get a spark in our brains and smile in our heart wow Man! we can we can meet so many people, so many new things to learn , fresh inventions and a better world, and you standing up  against someone won’t matter because you both are sharing a common goal that is betterment and we can say you guys are having an discussion rather than an argument.

So next time, when you argue with your boss be happy because you are out of the ordinary and you use your brain rather than punching your time card and do the same thing the next day and feel sorry you took up that job.

Let’s admire all the great thinkers who are OK! to stand alone against a thousand folks who agree, I am basically fan of such people and want to thank them today.

So that is right thing to do respect the feelings of very few people in this world who matter to you and do what your heart says, and yes if you disagree with a person both of you would learn something good at the end of that discussion.

Have a great day guys, thank you for your time.
