Life was given us a billion years ago, do we know what to do with it?

This blog hit me as lighting when I was watching a documentary on the national Geographic channel; it was titled world’s deadliest and in that particular episode was about the ultimate abilities of few handpicked species.

The next 30 minutes I watched the most amazing organisms which was beautifully filmed and shown.

Most of these belonged to the sea world mostly everything was shot on the sea bed. The theme or the concept of the feature was to show the different types of techniques these creatures use to catch their prey or attract its mate build their homes and so on.

The amazing part of the feature which I cannot forget is the hammer mantis shrimp, the digger snails and a weird rodent which was derived from species which has ears like a rabbit legs like a kangaroo and nose like a pig! I am not able to recollect the name if I get it will update it.

When I was watching this documentary I felt, we humans are way behind in genetics and the abilities or we can call it super-powers that these animals have we win only in few things like our mind power and the power to control nature to certain extent like lighting a fire or creating ice out of water, or building weapons of mass destruction

We all know ants communicate through chemicals which are called as pheromones; they also use touch and smell with the help of their antenna.

The great advanced human beings talk of superiority and things like these, but I have realised whatever qualities we have developed is from animals, a pack of lioness choose the strongest male as its ate so that the future is safe, the elephants depend on the eldest in the group who is the matriarch to lead the group that is the trust they have in their leadership, when a snake is born it is totally on its own will have to survive by itself till its death, that is self-reliance.

The Intelligence

So the analogy is that there are themes and behaviours which are going on the animal communities across species which has a great resemblance towards our societal living patterns.

There are birds which keep their nests spic and span to attract a mate, the cuckoo steals other bird’s eggs and feeds its own that is the first thievery recorded much before we came into the scene.

So every time we think that we are so special and invented gizmos' and also feel proud of our long distance communications, beat this! a tortoise or a sea turtle   comes back to the same beach where it was born even if is many miles away from it and same with the blue whale, pelicans and flamingos have great migrations with the help of the earth’s magnetic field.

Reptiles are still more advanced they have their weapons like heat sensors, changing skin colour, bi-directional eyes, night vision to name a few.

Let us all think for a while and stop feeling proud that we are the greatest creations ever and accept that everything that was created is great and we are also among them, all the animals are mature enough not to  interfere in our business for their own gains as we do to get their benefits.

But still at the end they are advanced than us, yes for me it feels great to see all these great creatures as a product of mutations of a single gene which has given rise so many ecosystems, phyla and species.

If we all seriously feel proud of our intellect, the task is to show courtesy towards nature and raise hands in unity to save it, and at least if you’re not able do anything better to keep quite than building plans to destroy it.

Let’s admire nature and try to save what is left.

Well the trolls are going high on this latest topic: “Water war”  do you think it would happen? I will definitely say there is good chance of it to happen.

Upon saying that I would like to proceed and like to talk about realizations in life, we all know what it is but, why do we wait till the last moment so that something happens that is the time we all get that vibe in our minds oh! “So next time I should not end up in this situation.”

This word ‘realization’ is just a word for some; a phenomenon for some and for some is a new world.

I want to emphasis on this today because I am seeing people around me sometimes are lost in worlds which have no meanings, and some are just jumping from one pitfall to another black pool and are not ready to accepting their wrong moves/mistakes.

Instead of me feeling angry on such people I feel pity for the simple reason that they were not told by their well-wishers in an understandable way about their shortcomings or may be the person in question did not have the humility to listen.

The factor of listening is very much essential because until and unless you are ready to listen to someone we would never learn.

The youth of this generation are too smart to be frank though people say “dude even you belong to this generation” I am fair enough in accepting there is gap which is building between me  one among the 90s’ kids and this generation I am sure many would agree with me and why is that ? Is it due to technology or the so called technology boom partly yes but there is many concrete reasons for this less value educated generation which I am experiencing.

In a book which I was reading called the ‘organized mind’ by Daniel Levitin  the author says the generations are building up we should keep in mind there is a evolution happening and the level of this evolution is from the genetic level so he says the amount of information blast the generations are receiving their brains are not able to judge what information to take as a benchmark which I would say is a con of the techno boom. So there is a latency in judging the right things and realizing the wrong things which is a major concern.

We all have a general mentality of shunning anything for the first time if it is told to us in a grim way or I can say like an order, because that is where our ego is hurt and we are all madly egoistic, even though no one agrees to that.

When we are told something or let us take it as advised about how to complete a task, we would agree with the advisor and do what he says or retort, if you ask me what would I do, my answer would I will be sympathetic enough to listen to the person first then do my homework and maybe totally follow his advice or let him know my feedback or suggest him a better plan, that would be your first logical apprehension to solve a problem.

But the world is running in such a vague manner that people always end up in the net of their own egos and never understand the problem and listen to the solution and finally realize that one day when it is too late. I would like to quote an age old thought “you can buy anything under sun but not time”  so we cannot afford to waste it by fighting within.

So as the generations are growing this problem of taking own decisions which re proving to be wrong  are proving to more and more evident. We see, hear and read about weird crimes which are committed then later the convict realizing what he did was not needed, may be this is an extreme example but the number of ‘Kid adults’ are increasing each day which a big concern, so are these unreasonable crimes.

Comprehension is not magic it is just appreciating  the facts which are in front of our own eyes and acting in a particular manner which would make things easy for you and also for the people who are dependent on you.

I see some folks just crying, cribbing and running around in circles with the same problem and also tell the whole world they are in such a sad state, instead can they not work on it? and grasp their mistakes or make others realize their faults. It is all in the mind.

Recognizing at the right time, age and moving on will make you just a living,  to a happily living person I am sure no one hates happiness.

Whatever generation you are born in it doesn’t matter but being considerate to your parents and siblings and friends matter. We all need to realize the importance of nature and start respecting it rather than terminating it,  otherwise be prepared for a situation where there will be planned attacks for water and air !

We all need to cultivate the habit of listening to people before barging into conversations without context.

The sooner you comprehend these truths it is the best for you and this world.

The monkey brain

Like monkey tricks? According to you what is a monkey trick? It is something which is out of the box and it happens spontaneously, now why do I call it impulsive? Because the monkey almost does not think when it tries to do something which we call it stupid actually you now it is following logic according to it and it is doing it may be for entertainment or to steal food from people. Well it is fine for a monkey to do it ! Then why do humans end up  doing it without any goal?

I get this doubt sometimes when we say we are the result of the highest stage of evolution I feel sometimes this evolution is going in reverse direction.

So the actual monkey brain is behaving in a certain manner which is not usually termed as normal behavior  or different , if you ask me what do you mean by different is it good or bad?

I would say stand by my answer ‘different’ I would make it clear  with  a small instance which will exactly  you give you an idea about  what am I talking about, it is that state of mind of a person which makes an entire happy crowd grouch faced the moment he uttered that statement which was not appropriate to the situation.

The reason why I call it a monkey brain act is because it is done without thinking because we humans are supposed to think and second takeaway is that our childishness comes out at wrong moment.

You know many families are broken and some are suffering because of this outburst of comments or unseen behavior by their sons or husband or someone’s mother. Well the reason why this happens is pretty much understandable from the genetics point view we all do carry something called a Rhesus factor or popularly called as RH factor which we have carried on from our predecessors that I might kick in yes ! actually  valid point, but can you keep yourself away from that RH factor when you communicate to people or when you are in a social occasion ? Yes of course you can that depends on how mature are you realize before what you talk.

So when I told  this in a discussion to some learned friends of mine that we have to keep our naughty brains away for some time at given situations some people were divergent  and asked me “ so you want me to give up my individuality or you want me not be “me” well I answered them as follows:

Being you is the best thing that you can do in life but when you are put in a given scenario there are certain things we cannot openly tell that would raise eyebrows well if it is debate yes you could! But definitely not when you are sharing a table with some people who may follow some other value systems that may not match with your own, you cannot go there and tell them that you do not believe any of those things!

So we always need to be considerate and empathetic to others opinions and beliefs even though we may not like to follow it, what is the harm in just giving a nod atleast at that moment of time and maybe you think about what was discussed and reconsider your decision the thing that matters is you were considerate enough atleast to listen what the person across the table said, that would be greatly applauded for sure.

Hope we all learn to switch off our monkey brains whenever it is not required, let us be wise and try to make the people around us as well wise.

 Jose had come to meet her friend Jennifer who had just graduated from Howard University after a long break of five years.

“Come on let’s go!” we are late exclaimed Jose to her friend. So they just booked a cab as they wanted to talk as they reached the movie hall.

After the usual reels the movie began:

It was an old school story about societal complexities, actually it was an old school cowboy movie shot in the open heaths of red dog city a fictitious place created for the movie.

Well it was a long film and it finally ended, as the two friends were on their  way back home they were discussing about the movie.

The story was about a small tribe fighting for its rights who were always persecuted by the white men at time when apartheid was deeply prevailing.

Majority of the people in tribes were scared about their so called “masters” who would hire them as slaves in the future, but the movie was inclined on two people a young lady and her husband who were rock solid till the end of the movie and bent upon not getting harassed because of the color of their skin! and finally they get their freedom for their entire tribe.

“Jose what do you think in this modern society you think it easy to be firm as the couple on our decisions and we maintain a single character or people call it personality in front of almost anyone and down the timeline”? Asked Jennifer.

“So you think I have changed through the years”? Asked Jose in a lighter tone. “Well I was talking about the movie!” laughed Jenny.

“Yes on a serious note I would say yes in this modern times and changing value-culture society I would say sometimes we need to travel with the tide, well definitely up to a level”.

“I partially agree with you though not completely” replied Jennifer.

“Why”? Asks Jose who seeked a clearer explanation.

Jenny explains:

“I don’t care in what time or dimension, era we are in but I can tell you that we are all born with a character and I feel we need to maintain that and show our opinion which is a reasonable and fair one to the situation, on the contrary I would like to you tell you that suppose someone was born with a sadistic or a kinked character there is every need for him to change it and he should change it for the sake of his own good. But if you were already among the few good men who stand on your opinion there no need for you to become a chameleon at times just to impress someone let it be your boss or your wife then I would admire you!

A person with a character may sound shrewd and negative but after while or may be years people who mocked at him, disagreed with him, thought that he was unworthy would appreciate him and the only reason they do so is for his oddity.

I see people who always keep saying their lives change personally, privately and publically at certain moment in their life! But I feel it is up to them how they manage it or just crib and feel helpless about it! Their lives would not change .

I am very strong in  saying no if it does not match my value system no matter who comes and goes in your life you need to have your own individuality and your say, and should definitely have a personal where you have some space for yourself, it is actually need for your soul is what is told in an old Buddhist custom.”

Jose was impressed by the answer given by her friend and happily agreed to it.

We should always be pure in our hearts and think without a haze or wearing a disguise and just portraying a person which you are not! as a result of doing that one day you could end up in a valley of dissatisfaction or repentance as you just gave up your character! for what so ever reason.

A Pakistani Drama.

Pakistan is such a country that they hate their people, they hate their leaders, they hate their family and finally they hate themselves. The rogue nation.

Hope we  know the phase our soldiers are going through now due to this recent attack,  let us discuss it in detail. Our neighboring country, which just came into existence since 1947, the formation of  which is also a bunch of conspiracies.

India has always had a tough time with Pakistan, why has this happened or why is this happening? Is it a dogma? Or a stigma? a media sensation? I am sorry it is none it is he blunt truth in front of your eyes.

It takes my heart torn apart to see 18 soldiers who were martyred in the Uri attack last Monday and another brave soul who was extinguished in a police station attack on the following day.

Seeing their families weep in sorrow makes every Indian who is loyal to his motherland share the same pain and it should! Because these are deliberate attacks by the  ‘Rogue state’ which is how it is famous on the media now, we never provoked them to fire near the LoC. The most sensational thing is that Pakistan plays the terrorist card each time it attacks India and lies that the Government and the military had no part to play it was the terrorist! Like a cat which closes its eyes and drinks milk.

Come on the Mr. PM of Pakistan! are you competing in a race to win the gold medal in Hypocrisy and it  has become a habit for you to call your army chief just before your UN general assembly meetings?  to ask him what to talk and just repeat  it like a parrot! and please stop telling us that this is an Indian internal security issue of the Kashmir and sympathizing a terrorist Buran Wani and calling him a young leader in the UN!

The point is that there is lack of leadership in the republic of Pakistan because of which it has reached to a level which is popularly called as the ‘banana republic’.

What actually happened?

I have collected some articles from few newspapers from which I am reporting how this attack happened:

Date: 18th September 2016

 Four terrorists attacked 12th Brigade of the army in Uri sector on Sunday. At around 5.15 am, terrorists attacked the administrative block of the army. Unarmed soldiers were there, refilling diesel in barrels from fuel tanks.

Springing a surprise, terrorists lobbed 17 grenades in 3 minutes. This caused a massive fire in the barracks and tents in about 150-metre radius, where 13 jawans were burnt alive instantaneously. Many others received severe burns.

Four jawans succumbed to their injuries later in army hospital. After the six-hour gun-battle all the four terrorists were eliminated. More than 20 jawans were injured, who were sent to hospital for treatment.

Sources said that the terrorists' original plan was to kill unarmed troops, storm Medical Aid Unit near Brigade Administration Area. And, then they planned to explode themselves after entering officers' mess.

HOW TERRORISTS WERE NEUTRALISED.

The moment diesel dump exploded due to smog and subsequent explosion militants got disoriented and headed straight towards soldiers' barracks.

One militant was gunned down by a 19-year-old Dogra soldier, who also challenged the remaining three militants. The soldier also sustained severe head injury, when a bullet hit his Helmet. He was later evacuated by his colleagues.

Since the barracks were empty, militants took defensive position inside the barracks on the second floor, which has 16 rooms. They kept firing from the barracks till four Para-commandos stormed the building and killed the three terrorists.

JAISH-E-MOHAMMED BEHIND ATTACK

Briefing about the terror attack on the army camp in Uri, Director General of Military Operations Lt General Ranbir Singh said that all the four killed were foreign terrorists. The slain terrorists had some items, which had Pakistani markings and writing in Pashto a language which is the tribal language in Pakistan.

Initial reports indicate that the slain terrorists belong to Jaish-e-Mohammed tanzeem, said the DGMO. Four AK-47 rifles and four Under Barrel Grenade Launchers along with a large number of other war like ammunitions were recovered from them.

  

PAKISTAN'S DGMO DENIES INDIA'S CLAIMS

In the backdrop of Uri terrorist attack, Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Lt Gen Ranbir Singh established hotline contact with his Pakistani counterpart on Sunday afternoon and conveyed India's serious concerns on the issue.

However, Pakistan DGMO termed India's claim as "unfounded and premature".

 He also reiterated that no infiltration is allowed from Pakistani soil and water tight arrangements were in place on both sides of the LoC. On the other hand, the Pakistan DGMO asked Singh to share with him actionable intelligence.I thank India today for this detailed report.

If we analyze what has happened you can clearly see that the nature of this attack is purely like a mercenary attack which was happening even before Pakistan existed, 

which is killing people for money.

The terrorists I am referring to were local tribes founds in the jungles of Pakistan who were shamelessly fed by Pakistan with money and weapons and directed towards India.

Why were they directed? I will tell you this is intolerance, intolerance to see India coming up an emerging power, towards the development in India and of course the age old problem of Kashmir which Pak is so possessive about.

I also want to comment on the relationship of the Russian and the Chinese relationships with Pakistan, because it appears to be pretty mixed up, China says they support Pak to the full extent, Russia first denied any kind of support, but now it again says they will carry on military drills in Pakistan! I feel all this doesn’t matter as India is more than enough to face Pakistan.

I would seriously appreciate the mood of the angry Indian now, which I noticed on twitter and also on the official blog of our military forces, I guess in the recent past these are few times where, almost the government the great political parties of India are in consensus except the Left front who still are believing in with all due respect “Gandhian policies” when we are being stabbed in front they say please get stabbed at the back as well.

I was shocked to watch the statements given by Mr. Sitaram Yechury, and Bhattacharya from the (CPIM) telling the world “war is not the solution for everything in this world. Well we all know that but how can you stand anyone who keeps on massacring your own kit and kin for no reason.

 I want to counter-question all those people who say war is not a resolution, then what is?

I was so much happy I watched the news hour by Arnab Goswami which covered a beautiful approach to tackle these hooligans.

The Balochistan Equation.

Well we know that India liberated Bangladesh in 1971. Well in this cohort beyond 2014 we are about to witness a second emancipation of Balochistan from Pakistan.

I thank Honorable PM Modi who has said he will give Asylum to Baluchistan.

Great minds say there is level beyond unfairness and lies that won’t stand, I think Pakistan is in that time frame, hope it tries to learn some lessons atleast now or I guess as Mr. Seshadri Chari told on  television I quote “there is a chance that Pakistan won’t see its next independence day!”  May be  that statement is too exaggerated but you atleast know the Government has taken it very seriously.

For the hypocrites who are hidden in the valley, you are true colors will come out in few days so you better decide whom do you want to support and determine where you belong first!

I can only pray almighty God to give strength to the families who lost their loved ones I know they are broken-hearted but this is the least I can do.

Sons of Havildar Ravi Paul who was martyred in Sunday's terrorist attack.

I am happy PM Modi has taken a decision to not leave the people who caused so much pain to peace loving country such as India and counter attacks has already been propelled and as of yesterday 20 terrorists have been killed.

I would like to conclude by saying that there are peace loving people in Pakistan too but they are not able to enjoy their peace due to vested interests of certain people they are not spared by these groups of illiterate and unreasonable people and systems, I feel sad for them.

I liked the way Ms. Eenam Gambhir used the right of reply and called Pakistan ‘The ivy of terrorism’ in the UN general assembly. Thank you madam for making the point of all the Indians who know the true game of Pakistan.

I thank the Indian army the chief of army Dalbir singh Suhag for his pledge and for his concern to protect the motherland, Balbir singh the former chief of Army who gave  a beautiful analysis on TV about military operations for armatures like me, General GD Bakshi who is my all-time hero and role model, Fali Homi Major the former air chief marshal of India, Ajit Doval  the national security advisor of India  Mr. Maroof Raza for his great strategic analysis and all the other great people who are ready to face the call of the duty.

Electro-Mania.

Wow look at that phone!... look at that computer these are the famous catch phrases these days, is it that the whole business models of the major electronic tycoons   gaining on us,  or is this the generation of electronics that we are amazed by these gadgets and nothing else ?

 Electro-mania, is growing. Electro mania well it is actually not as big as it sounds but it has its own way of sounding big.

Do you have a phone? Of course we all have but the billion dollar question is how often do you change your phone?

You would know about some reselling websites like olx, quickr, ebay.com and many more around the world have you realized how they are surviving or getting their revenues?,  it is because of our craving for new gadgets and our tendency to sell them off.

I am seriously amazed we are just buying things and just throwing it away when they are still in perfectly working condition the reason being something new was released.

We are defying the laws of buying behavior, all laws are subject to some schema and constraints, but still they hold good to some extent but  we are determined to break all records to all new heights.

At what cost?  is another question that  used to haunt me, so I strived myself by doing some research , the number released by the UN is 50 million tons of E-waste is being generated every year  this waste are disposed by  some responsible men and women who work tirelessly with risks of respiratory diseases,  but they say they are getting choked as this waste is multiplying as the years are rolling by.

Come on guys let’s think logically here, every time you buy a phone or a new television by just getting rid of the previous one for whatsoever reason, you have created your foot print of E-waste and also always remember every new gadget you buy is just another liability for you and never an asset.

So why this panic about all the E-Waste for starters it  is increasing the metal pollution levels which is generated while the scrap machines melt the metals, silicon and some plastic parts which are non-recyclable.

The tycoons are very clever dodging these types of issues by giving the standard reports of their corporate social responsibility, but according to me it is just a 0.1 % of the return they are giving to the damage that has been done.

So what can we do as consumers? We need to control our desires towards buying gadgets which are not necessary or only which are bought for the look and feel of it or simply that we love gadgets. Well we just get carried away by one online sale!

We should also inculcate the habit of forming some informal clubs so that we can give away these used yet working gadgets, to orphanages or some people in remote areas who cannot afford to buy them that would be one of the best things that can be done, of course with necessary controls to avoid misusing the same.

You would also have realized since the advent of smart phones and VOIP and chat applications like whatsapp messenger , hangouts and so on I have experienced people including me are so busy forwarding the so called "posts" that they have almost given up reading them. We have also become very generic and not reading crowds . It is actually a very big hit  and disaster to the youth.

Simple guys, just buy things if you really need it and take responsibility of what you buy think before you want to dispose it for no reason, this is a humble request keeping the bizarre future in mind. Let’s be kind to our earth

Deja-Vu

What is the feeling to be lost or being lost in an illusion or feeling Deja vu? How many of us have felt this? First let me explain what is Deja-vu? it is a French word which means “already seen” it is that feeling that you dreamt of something but moments later it just happened in front of you.

Why I wanted to talk about this is that, I have seen many folks and I am still seeing people who are still living in illusions.

Illusion is what a person believes which is actually not there or is something he always dreams about and feels happy about.

Unfortunately they are some people are purposely just driving them into illusions, so how do you just crash inside delusions?

Let me explain you with a simple example, If you just see a group of friends in a college, there will always be some guys who are bright and rest of the group will always be driven by them, you will also see a person who will move along with them and also feel the same happiness others feel in the group, so that is how you crash into illusions, but this child would actually be bad in his course.

That is exactly the person whom I want to talk about, the common trend is that the group is a collection of opulent teenagers and even this person is also rich but meagre in his intellect.

If you ask me what I feel about such a person, I would say I feel pity for them because they move along with the crowd or his or her group and be in a comfortable situation, until the results come out, or any other annual cycles if we think about a work environment come out,  that is when the Deja-vu moment happens to them and they will realize and understand what is it like to blasted out from an illusion and just stuck there in reality. The irony is that Deja-vu is something we dream and then it becomes reality, in exceptional cases like these de-ja-vu turns out to be the opposite of the happy illusion into a sad reality!

I remember some time ago I had written about “Kid adults” recalling the same and co-relating the same here actually these people belong to the same group, when you do not realize the actual reality around you and just try to be normal and move along with the current trend it seriously doesn’t work out.

Is it alarming, indeed yes it  is,  if you are on a flight and it is travelling at uniform speed the journey will be smooth but, if there is a sudden jerk or change in speed you know how it feels!

So before you feel happy that all seems well the speeds of your peers would have altered and you are out of illusion.

And when that happens you will feel as a fish feels without water, it is better we live a life in which we are not lost in phantasm.

It is great to live in present actually it is a challenge to live in present.

Being in an illusion is fun for an hour or at the most an hour more at a movie theatre.The sooner you realize and start living a life in the present  it will be the best for you.
